“Booked three rooms for funeral.”

Customer service was good but bathrooms not clean and door of one room broken. My son's family had to change rooms because of issues. Not up to my expectations of The Hampton Inn.

The complaints may have come from folks who did not try to adjust the nozzle. BTW you can only adjust them if you are tall. I would never have been able to reach the nozzle!

“BEWARE OF THE ELEVATOR..”

Unfortunately, our  experience in this specific hotel was awful. Normally, we normally stay at Marriott's but thought we would give Hilton (Hampton Inn) a try. We have stayed at Hilton Garden Inns as well and those have been fine. Checked in on Wed (Aug 6th). That night left-side elevator did not work.(opened & close but would not go up). Told the front desk. Thu (Aug 7th) sign on the elevator door (we were on the 4th floor) but elevator not turned off. So broken elevator kept coming up in lieu of the only functioning elevator. Went down the steps and informed front desk. Could not get the "Good" elevator to work. Husband with balance issues had to gingerly go down 4 flights of steps. Informed front desk. Aware of issue but did not have or able to get the right person with the "key" to shut the elevator down (I know fire depts have that ability). Fri evening (8Aug) sign was up and broken elevator turned off. No issue. Sat (09Aug) morning elevator sign was back up, broken elevator turned back on. Spoke with the front desk (young gentleman; not the same crew as during the week).Told him about the issues all week & that the sign was on but the Left-side elevator was turned on. It is a safety issue (I actually escorted 2 young girls down the stairs so they would not inadvertently take the broken elevator) The front desk person proceeded to tell me that the elevator does work but that the lights were not on (I think that too is DANGEROUS.  Entering an unlit elevator that clearly states it's broken and do not use) is unsafe; hands down! I told him the signs were still up so we can't enter the elevator. He said we could and he was just waiting for his mgmt to turn them on. THAT IS RIDICULOUS.I did not address that we were never acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member nor about the musty room or the noisy AC system that did not work properly as the elevator issue was over the top & very dangerous for all your customers esp customers like my husband, with walking and balance issues. Your cleaning & food support staff were very understanding and were more helpful than mgmt. One staff member even went on the good elevator with me as I was visibly nervous. That is the only reason for a 3 star rating. I would never stay here again. Too many other options now that I have been to the area.
