“Awesome stay”
The Barrymore Hotel is a gem. From before I even got there interacting with the front desk to my checkout was amazing. Everybody was great. The hotel was clean and super comfortable and talk about a beautiful view. If we go back next year we will definitely be staying again.

“Good hotel: great location and good price”
Great location, good price. Gaudin (hotel restaurant) is surprisingly good - pretty good bar, very good food, limited menu. Rooms are small but we didn't spend much time in ours.

“Good clean and comfortable”
I stayed here for the July 2026 bar exam. The shuttle service was very helpful in getting to the Tampa convention center both mornings. The hotel building is old but well kept. “Great hotel location and right on the Tampa River Walk”
Location wise, this is a great hotel. The pool is a nice feature but there is a lot of construction directly in front of it which was noisy and definitely not relaxing. The rooms are outdated and there was a slight smell in our room. I did not eat in the restaurant, but the reviews were not great… more

“Great Rooms and Amenities, One rude staff member”
The rooms were very clean and quiet. The location is excellent for walking and the shuttle was very useful, clean, and overall a nice amenity. Beware of arriving earlier than check-in as the front desk staff can be rather rude.
