This is a typical Hampton Inn- a bit worn but just fine. The room was clean- though there are always a few stray hairs on the bathroom floor. The mop doesn’t get it all. This is a typical Hampton Inn- a bit worn but just fine. The room was clean- though there are always a few stray hairs on the bathroom floor. The mop doesn’t get it all. The hotel must allow pets- a big dog was checking in right before us- always makes me wonder if the “pet rooms” are set aside. Room was quiet even though the hotel is near the interstate. Breakfast was fine- the usual waffles, toast, muffin, bananas, apples, small yogurts, a chafing dish of hot potatoes, and one with some type of sausages. Also a warming chafing dish of the premade “omelets”. There was also oatmeal, and a juice machine. The only negatives were the faucet in our room felt like it could break. And the beds were super noisy! I think the mattress was fine- but the bed frames were creaking! But these issues were specific to our room. Oh- we stayed here just a few days after that terrible ice/snow storm. We talked to one gal who was a “fill in worker”. She had been there every day since the storm because other people weren’t able to come in. We thanked her for being there! The sidewalks were not shoveled and the parking lot was also completely snow/ice covered. Both were very slippery. We are hardy midwestern folk, so we knew to do the “shuffle” when walking on ice!
