“Great hotel for business stay”

Pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. Pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. Internet (which is a must for me) worked great, didn't have to hassle to connect to it. Definitely impressed by the free breakfast when hotels in the area charge an arm and a leg extra for it. I was originally hesitant because the parking is not fully gated (which is a concern in a city like Memphis), but the experience was safe and convenient.

“Icy parking lot”

Don’t go after it snows. The parking lot was super slick and icy, and this was four days after it had quit snowing. This hotel puts down a little ice melt near the front door and hopes for the best, as guests and employees struggle to walk. Many other businesses had parking lots that had been cleared off. Otherwise, the hotel was nice.

“Find somewhere else nicer for the price.”

Hotel was run down, not modernized (washers/dryers do not accept debit cards), you are charged $7 PER DAY for parking when you are already paying to stay there, no USB outlets near the bed and one of the regular wall outlets was inaccessible, leaving one side that had a small extension cord attache… more

Hotel was run down, not modernized (washers/dryers do not accept debit cards), you are charged $7 PER DAY for parking when you are already paying to stay there, no USB outlets near the bed and one of the regular wall outlets was inaccessible, leaving one side that had a small extension cord attached to the wall for one plug. No vending machines, ice machines are only on a couple of floors, no visible security cameras, door to the bathroom makes it nearly impossible to get into the bathroom, digital key cards don't work, and staff would disappear from the front desk around 10pm, not answering phone calls or anything. The two upsides were location from Target and some restaurants, and the lady at evening check-in and the gentleman serving breakfast in the morning were both VERY sweet and professional.
