I stayed at Austin Marriott Downtown in Austin, Texas, and had a satisfactory experience overall. The hotel's downtown location is one of its biggest advantages, with many restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, although a few details could have been better maintained. The staff was courteous and professional, but service sometimes felt a bit slow during peak hours. The amenities were adequate and helped make the stay more convenient. While nothing stood out as exceptional, the hotel provided a decent and comfortable place to stay. For reservations and booking assistance, I used the online booking number +1-888-861-1953, and the process was simple and efficient. Overall, Austin Marriott Downtown offers a solid stay for travelers visiting Austin, though there is room for improvement in certain areas.

Overall ok but not great. Lobby and location are great, and their little necessities store is super convenient. The room was pretty small but also pretty clean, the only thing I noticed was some unsightly splattered stain on the curtain but I do have high cleanliness standards. We landed early and requested early check-in which they wouldn't do over the phone, but they did have a room ready for us when we got there in person. One thing to note is an employee told us there is construction next door that is a roughly 5 year project, and if you need a room with 2 beds you will be facing that construction. I heard it throughout the day but it wasn't anything crazy. During our stay we needed something to stay frozen, and while staff did accommodate by taking our items to their freezer, our items weren't actually frozen when we got back so it doesn't seem like the temperature is right - something to keep in mind if you are traveling w/something that requires freezing. Additionally, on the first night we called the front desk for 2 extra blankets and were told they'd be right up. After 30 minutes with no blankets, we phoned again, but this time nobody answered the phone. We went to the front desk and they told us housekeeping would be right up. We expressed concern given that we had already been told that and then waited 30 min and asked if they could get us the blankets and bring them to the desk right then, and they would not. Housekeeping did eventually get up to our room, but we were only delivered 1 blanket. So overall the hotel was just fine but I wasn't overly impressed for the price. The towels were pretty thin and scratchy to us so it was little stuff like that but I think for the extra $50 or $100 I'd book at the Omni next time.
