Unable to check in even 1 minute before 3pm ... Room odor was horrible, like a mix of cigarette smoke and mildew (we had to leave door and windows open for hours). Front desk could not help us ... Shower water flow was sporadic and hot/cold water was confusing and sporadic ... Nothing to place or hang anything on in shower (such as soap, shampoo or rag) ... The advertised breakfast was false advertising - there was none ...

I travel with two cats. Thankfully they take pets. The fee was $50/day for the two cats, which to me seems excessive, but is pretty standard. The room was a good size, and had a windowsill that cats good sit on. The room had a desk with a rolling chair that I could use my laptop on. Next to the cooktop was a breakfast nook with two chairs. There was a reclining chair in the livingroom and the television swivels so one can watch it from there. The bed was comfortable, but the blanket and white coverlet had holes in them. My cats were, unfortunately, finding things that were NOT mine underneath the bed: cookie pieces, a shirt, a pair of socks, and huge dust bunnies. The lamp behind the recliner didn’t work. The bulb in one of the lamps beside the bed flickered. All of the bulbs were caked with dust. The bathroom had one hand soap which was very drying, one body soap bar that was less drying, and one very small bottle of a combined shampoo and conditioner. There were plenty of towels for me and a hair dryer. The tub and toilet looked clean. The desk staff was very polite and professional. The laundry room was clean and one could either use coins or scan a QR code to use your phone to pay. I used my phone to pay and the app had a timer for each machine, which I liked a lot. Housekeeping is done once every two weeks, but one can exchange towels and sheets at the front desk. Don’t ask them when you see them for goodness sake! They look at you like you have three heads and tell you no. There are Whataburger and Sandy’s across the street, but I didn’t feel safe walking by myself at night. There was security at night so I did feel safe inside the hotel. There were two vending machines in a room next to the front desk, but you needed a room key to enter. The breakfast is only until 0930 and don’t ask for a cup of coffee at the front desk after that time because one will be told no. Also, don’t ask for entry into the vending room immediately after checking out to get a bottle of water for the road because you will be told no.
