This hotel met many of the expectations required to make it a suitable hotel for me and my family. Pros: Provided 5 full 240 ML bottles: Body Lotion, Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hand Wash It was incredibly spacious! There was an entire living room next to the two beds with a wall between the beds and the living room and a rectangular table to eat. The couch in the living room was a pull-up bed. The room window was very big providing an abundance of natural light. There were also 2 layers of blinds on that window in case there was no need of the light. There was a good and sizeable work table with two outlets. There was one chair with a table near the corner to relax. Then there was a rolling chair for the work table. There was also two extra rolling stool chairs underneath a cover table. There were complimentary water bottles for check in and check out. The hot breakfast was very good and was free. Some choices for breakfast were: Cheese Omelets, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs and Tater Tots There were water filling stations and an ice machine. The gym was in good condition. There was plenty of free parking. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. There was a few artificial lights but they weren’t sufficiently bright when it was nighttime ( still good enough to be a pro). Cons( the following were reported to hotel staff ): The tub had a slow-flowing drain. Hot tub and pool were closed. The AC vents were a little dusty. The fridge was making random and weird sounds for 4-minute intervals at random times. The key cards were not working sometimes and we had to get new ones but were free. The gym didn’t have a treadmill.

“Safe solo trip”

Solo trip three nights. The manager, Marlene, and her staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. Solo trip three nights. The manager, Marlene, and her staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. They made an effort to give me my member' points and suggested to book directly from IHG in the future. The room on the 3rd floor was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Housekeeping is upon request of tough can just ask for what you need, and they would accommodate it. They featured a members social event Monday- Wednesday with food and drinks, but I was not in the hotel at 6pm. The location was central enough that I could get around all of Austin while avoiding major highways with a 20-30 minute drive in any direction.

This was our least favorite of 4 Holiday Inn Express hotels we stayed in on a recent trip. This was probably most influenced by a saggy mattress, but we also had a problem with the refrigerator freezing some of our food and we needed help (and a replacement controller) to get our TV to work. This was our least favorite of 4 Holiday Inn Express hotels we stayed in on a recent trip. This was probably most influenced by a saggy mattress, but we also had a problem with the refrigerator freezing some of our food and we needed help (and a replacement controller) to get our TV to work. Not quite as good lighting as the other hotels.
