Very clean hotel. We stay here every time we come to Southlake. Only place we will stay. Beds are usually comfortable, but this time bed seemed to be a little too hard. We requested extra pillows which was very nice. AC works really well. Showers are amazing! At the front desk Angie upgraded us with pantry service and it was a nice addition. Even when coffee machine broke restaurant gave complimentary coffee service. When we requested a quiet floor/room since my hubby is disabled veteran they honored and it was so nice! Thanks for another great weekend!

“Exceptional bar staff”

We had around 20 family members staying at the Delta hotel this weekend for a military promotion party at a nearby venue. We had around 20 family members staying at the Delta hotel this weekend for a military promotion party at a nearby venue. The hotel was great, but especially the bar staff - Eric and Christine made our trip exceptionally great as we hung out both Friday and Saturday night in the bar/lobby area. The were overly accommodating and just great people. The trip wouldn't have been the same without their hospitality as it was a great meeting spot for everyone at the end of each night.

“Why?”

Seems like a new place on the block but it’s our first visit to FW so would not know how new or old. We were there for a wedding and on arrival were greeted very warmly by the manager and desk staff. The two days stay was uneventful till we went to the restaurant for breakfast. Which was a strange very unwelcoming and disconcerting experience. Now I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt by saying that they were under staffed that morning and not on their best footing. First we waited in line for 15 minutes to be seated there were two other people ahead of us. Once seated it was over 15 minutes + for anyone to come and even acknowledge us . Other people who had come in with us were already served and had if not all at least half of their breakfast order. We were not even served with a glass of water. Nor was cutlery brought to the table. Finally a server came who was in a lot of hurry and totally distracted to get the order. I requested for a one small pot of hot water which I was told will be 5 dollars and I had no problem with that as it was a service they were going to provide. My order was Muffins, omelette and oats . After 30/35 minutes the order arrived the water for the tea was cold and the order was missing items. The food was unceremoniously dumped on the table. In the meanwhile many others breakfasters had come and gone. One couple sitting on a table next to us asked us as to why we were not being served!! I am a person of color and usually not made conscious and aware of that fact but for some reason ( may be) I was at this point .

“Great property. Warm service. But offerings for elite Bonvoy members have gone way downhill”

I stayed here in 2022, and it was a fairly new hotel so they have a lot to offer to elite members like upgrade to the corner suite and a pantry with lots of items. I’ve come back to the area a few times to try other hotels like Westin and Hilton since then. This time I decided to revisit this hotel since the last stay was pretty decent. The property still feels pretty new and room is clean. But the offerings in the pantry have gone way downhill. I did not get any upgrades this time but I never expect one anyway so it doesn’t matter much to me. But I do expect breakfast to include some real breakfast items like bread but nada. Breakfast in the pantry is just boxes of Corn Flakes, some bags of chips, and granola bar. I posted some pictures from the pantry at breakfast time, and it remains the same throughout the day. It seems like this is just an easy way for them to comply with Marriott’s requirement to offer breakfast to elite members by keeping boxes of Corn Flakes around. At the Westin nearby, they offer a sit down ala carte breakfast off the menu for elite members and the rooms and property is just as pleasant. While the property condition and staff service are on par with other hotels nearby, the amenities for loyal members definitely fall short—way short. I will stay at the Westin or Hilton for my future visits. I think it is a short-sighted decision to skim on elite offerings since we are the people that travel frequently. Another guest I met at the pantry commented on the same stating that the offerings here used to be way better. In any case, it’s a decent stay if you are not an elite Marriott Bonvoy member. But for those who have elite status, choose Westin for a better breakfast.
