We came down for the Rush concert on June 30th, which was sadly postponed, but still needed a place to stay for the night. I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel like this hotel deserves an honest one. First, the negatives. The moment we walked into the lobby, there was an overwhelming smell that can best be described as a nursing home. It wasn’t subtle, and it never went away during our stay. Behind the front desk there’s a door leading to an office, and it was wide open when we checked in. You could clearly see heavy water stains, black stains, and actual water still sitting on the carpet. It really affects first impressions, and honestly, that door should be kept closed until it’s addressed. The elevators also looked like they hadn’t been wiped down or cleaned in a while. Once we got to our floor, the smell went away and the hallways were actually nice. The room itself was good, definitely no frills. Several outlets didn’t work, and we did find a press‑on fingernail on the carpet — probably something housekeeping missed. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was clean and fully functional. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area was clean, so that was a positive. The location is also convenient — minutes from Dickies Arena with super easy access to I‑30. The hotel sits in an older part of town, but I wouldn’t call it a bad area, just older. Overall, the hotel has some good qualities, but the lobby smell and the visible stains in the office area really set the tone in a way that’s hard to ignore. Because of that, we will probably choose a different hotel when we return for the rescheduled concert on July 11th.

The hotel was decent, but the room was noisy. I was put in a room near the highway, so there was a lot of highway noise. The hotel was decent, but the room was noisy. I was put in a room near the highway, so there was a lot of highway noise. I asked to be moved to a different room which they accommodated, but unfortunately there was still a lot of street noise though it was less. Braxton, at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Due to the location and noise, I will not be staying there in the future.
