This is one of your above average Homewood Suites: very clean, nice breakfast buffet and helpful Front Desk Staff. We had issues with our suite on the first day but they were immediately addressed and the General Manager contacted us to apologize. Here is what you should know if it's important to you! First, the suite pictures and description posted on Hilton's website are outdated. When my husband and I travel, we like to relax in the living room and find it awkward both sitting on the couch. I reserved a one bedroom suite because it shows a nice easy chair next to the couch and work desk area in addition to the kitchen table. Don't expect either as they have been eliminated, I guess, as part of their renovations. Second, the suite does not have Central A/C. There are window style units, mounted underneath the window, in both living room and bedroom. The bedroom is quite tight for space and the A/C blew onto the bed with no way of controlling it. When I have air hit me like that while sleeping, I end up with a bad cold / sinus infection. We were there for 3 nights and it happened to me so now I am spending the first 2 days of our cruise sick and in bed.

“Perfect for a staycation”

Very roomy. Cool ac and theres even a fan. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Joe at the front desk was helpful and recommended great places to eat! 10/10 would stay again

The main problem with these kind of hotels is the horrible maintenance. Things at the pool were in disrepair and the interiors were pretty beat at some parts. The staff experience as well was pretty mixed. The reception staff was always highly friendly - but rather inefficient. The breakfast staff was always… well not greetings no smiles - just standing there either on the phone - eating themselves or talking to each other… ridiculous. Food quality for the breakfast was the worst of my Texas round trip. Disgusting meat - everyday breakfast tacos … yeah definitely so much room for improvements. The Wednesday social hour on the other hand was outstanding! Fresh fruit - beer on the tab, wine and self made lemonade - cheese and sweets - soup and salad >> WOOOW! The best I had since before Covid in any Homewood! The room was spacious and very nice - we decided for ocean view which was definitely worth the extra. The room service situation was not clear to me as I was not directly informed about it - and the sign at the reception which I only briefly took a look at was not clear to me. After 2-3 days we had roomservice - rather quick and dirty imo. Especially at a hotel close to the beach, with towels this is an issue. Beach is like a short 6 min walk from the hotel and very beautiful. This is the best selling point for the hotel. Be aware that parking comes at a 15$ up charge per day! The pool is pretty nice - not a lot of space to sit - but a nice plash pad for kids as well.
