Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas offered exactly that: a soft landing when we needed it most. Traveling as a group: my mother, my husband, our 12-year-old son, and myself can make spontaneity tricky. But the ease of securing a suite that could accommodate all of us felt like a small victory in the midst of an otherwise hectic day. From the moment we arrived, the tone shifted.
