Hotel is oddly shaped and old. Breakfast was good, reception that embassy suites is known for was ok. Hotel seemed like an old design that has not been updated. Hotel is oddly shaped and old. Breakfast was good, reception that embassy suites is known for was ok. Hotel seemed like an old design that has not been updated. Curtains over the doors, small bathroom that had sink in the bedroom. Did have microwave and refrigerator which was nice. Ample parking, walmart and target not far. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Had live music down in the bar area at night. Would look elsewhere as this was a disappointment.

“Decent but wouldn't stay here again.”

This is probably the most in-need-of-updating Embassy Suites I've ever stayed at. But, starting with the fact that despite rooms showing as ava for mobile check-in, I couldn't check in until 4pm or later because the hotel has been "sold out" for the weekend due to a concert. This is probably the most in-need-of-updating Embassy Suites I've ever stayed at. But, starting with the fact that despite rooms showing as ava for mobile check-in, I couldn't check in until 4pm or later because the hotel has been "sold out" for the weekend due to a concert. I was told housekeeping couldn't turn the rooms over fast enough to allow early check-ins. (This tells me they didn't prepare for a high volume turn-over with proper staffing.) That's fine, we did some sightseeing and grabbed lunch. We arrived at 4pm and guess what? Room still isn't ready, so, we were moved to another room of same status. Room 326: Whomever was in this room before us, must have bathed in cologne. Gross. The smell is in the pillows, the mattress, everywhere. It's so bad, I need to wash my hair because I can smell it in my hair. I was awakened at 4am by the trash truck dropping the dumpster behind the hotel. So, caution, Monday may be trash day. At 6am, people were outside working on something that involves a drill and gravel. They forgot to dim/turn off lights in the atrium and at 4am, jazz music was still blaring which can be heard in the room. My poor daughter had to sleep with a mask and headphones on the pull out couch. Bathtub does not drain. No exhaust fan in the shower/toilet area. Shower Water is hot which I'm thankful for to get rid of the cologne smell. If you're traveling with others, the bathroom is located in the bedroom so, your guests or kids will need access to the room. LOCATION: the main reason I choose this hotel is because it's convenient to everything if you're here for Tech and let's face it, thats the only reason to come. They're doing some atrium renovations at the time, so, no bar, only tables for complimentary happy hour. We did not visit the pool or hot tub. It's definitely an older Embassy Suites. I was able to have doordash delivery straight to my room. The outdoor patio was nice in the evening for happy hour. But, next time, I'll stay at a different Hilton Property.
