The staff at this hotel, particularly Chris and Julietta, went out of their way to be of help during our stay. After having stayed here previously in suites, I discovered this time that the regular rooms are subject to more of the heavy traffic noise from the adjacent intersection and from the window a/c units. The hotel provides a filling breakfast and the coffee seems never to run out. There is a pleasant patio with some outdoor seating for b'fast and other times. The pool (cool-ish) and hot tub are nice but rather narrow and smallish for more than a few people. The location is optimal to visit SUU or the Shakespeare Festival, about 4-5 blocks away, half on the pleasant Main St. There is no elevator but there is a carpeted indoor stairwell if that makes it safer for you to navigate than the concrete stairs outside. Across the street is a convenient full-sized grocery store and a handful of restaurants. The rooms closest to Main St will get much more of the intersection noise, including trucks and sportscars doing jackrabbit starts. This seems to die down a bit after 10 pm or so but maybe later on weekends. Earplugs are recommended for all rooms, imo.

Location: Located at 200 N and Main St. It is right in the center of town. A Sizzler Steak House is on the property. Grocery and other restaurants within walking distance. Hotel: An older property. Two stories, no elevator. Room doors face outside. Clean. Indoor pool and spa, fitness center… more

Location: Located at 200 N and Main St. It is right in the center of town. A Sizzler Steak House is on the property. Grocery and other restaurants within walking distance. Hotel: An older property. Two stories, no elevator. Room doors face outside. Clean. Indoor pool and spa, fitness center, private business center and library, nice outdoor seating area. Free breakfast, free parking. Price: All in price of $191 was reasonable considering Saturday night,car show, and two bedrooms. Staff: Friendly and helpful. There was a car shoe blocking main street and 200 N. The desk clerk we phoned was not great at giving directions. Room: Big room with living room, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. Clean. Great mattress. One window A/C unit was inadequate for the room size. TV and remote did not work well together. Breakfast: Standard fare decently prepared. Fitness Center: Large room. Water cooler empty. Hand sanitizer empty. 2 treadmills, elliptical, universal machine and free weights. Only one thin floor mat. The bike was one with moving handlebars and the seat leans forward. Need to be replaced with a recumbent bike.

“The suite room is good.”

The bed was great. The couch is a great touch. Lots of tables/surfaces to put stuff. HUGE tub in the room. I am not a fan of outside entrance hotels, so thankfully our room was accessed from the inside. The outside of the building is old and worn looking. Breakfast was standard.
