We actually were attending an event in Cedar City. For some reason the hotel costs there were really overpriced. We stayed MANY Courtyards before so we found this one in Saint George. Price wise, it seemed worth the hour drive since we were staying there so many nights. When we got there it was a really easy find off the freeway. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly. The smell of the hotel was amazing. Usually I would never say something like that but they do some magical thing with eucalyptus that just hits you. Best smelling hotel by far lol. There are a ton of food places around. I definitely would stay here again.

Can find no fault with this hotel. Clean, modern and welcoming. Like all Courtyards (at least those I have experienced) there is no complimentary breakfast, so we picked up bagels at nearby Einstein Bros. Also, we really enjoyed dinner at Red Fort restaurant which is right across the road. Highly r… more

Can find no fault with this hotel. Clean, modern and welcoming. Like all Courtyards (at least those I have experienced) there is no complimentary breakfast, so we picked up bagels at nearby Einstein Bros. Also, we really enjoyed dinner at Red Fort restaurant which is right across the road. Highly recommend.

“3 strikes”

I'll start with the good. Friendly front desk agent and clean room, although outdated, they are going thru remodeling which is needed. Now onto what made it memorable. I'll start with the good. Friendly front desk agent and clean room, although outdated, they are going thru remodeling which is needed. Now onto what made it memorable. My co-worker and I were waiting to check into our room. No one was at the front desk as we stood there for 2-3 minutes. One male employee walked behind the counter with his checkered shirt and backpack and ignored us. As I continued to have eye contact when he walked away he then said, someone will be coming out. No hello, no going to get someone. Strike one. After an hour after checking into the room, I met my co-worker in the lobby to have a drink before heading out to dinner. I approached the bar area/counter. There was the same employee that ignored us at check in behind the counter...assuming he was the bartender. I waited a few minutes, again he saw me and ignored. He eventually turned around and said, I can't open until 5pm, they won't let me. No problem, it was 4:52pm. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. Went back inside to get that drink, no one was at the counter except a female employee mopping the entire area that just opened at 5pm. The guest bar area. We couldn't stand up to the counter because of the wet floor and the female employee told us to step back onto the carpet. Why would they be mopping at the time of opening? Why wouldn't that have been done prior to 5pm when there were not any guests in the area? Strike 2. So, we stood at the edge of the carpet, facing the front counter for bar service. We waited 7 minutes, and no one ever came to take our order. The female employee continued to mop the entire area, did not look for another employee to assist us. We decided to leave and head out to dinner. Strike 3. I will not be back.

“Okay room but some things need help”

The hotel is decent, it needs a little renovation or maybe just some cleaning and updating. The staff was not the best. The hotel is decent, it needs a little renovation or maybe just some cleaning and updating. The staff was not the best. The in room amenities need some help, it’s a very small tv with very few channels, the coffee pot didn’t work to the point I burnt my hand on it, the towels were rough. The gal when we were checking in was friendly enough but told me that the state I’m from was awful and didn’t understand how I could live there. The next morning when our in room coffee pot would boil the water but never release the coffee, my spouse went to the front desk to ask about coffee and was told we needed to pay for it at the breakfast counter. So we went back for that and it took 20 plus minutes because it was one person working with multiple people in line, not to mention this was Father’s Day so I’m assuming it was busier than usual.
