“Very Good VA Creeper Trail option.”
Clean, comfortable hotel; rooms, common areas, dining areas all fine. Excellent morning breakfasts. Courteous and capable staff. Very close to Virginia Creeper Trailhead in Abingdon. Good lunch and dinner options in the area. Easy on/off Interstate.

“Wonderful stay”
I was exhausted when I checked in and the clerk was quick with getting me a room and on the bottom floor god love him. The rooms were very clean and the sheets were so soft and bathroom was clean lots of towels.

“Good for the price.”
Good breakfast, everything worked,beds comfortable.Room generally clean, no mold. Corners cruddy, some nicks and chinks. Exterior not well kept.lots of weeds and worst of all front right corner of building, sidewalk and stairs covered with poison ivy,!.No first aid kit at front desk.

It's in the details! Hotels that manage well, hire good people, and keep the hotel clean, repaired, and up to date usually are the best. This hotel could be but they fail in a lot of areas. Pros...above average beds, average breakfast, and decent location. Cons..no one at front desk to check us… more
