Great location and pleasant surroundings in a quiet neighborhood. Special thanks to Ridvan and Embi at the front desk. Great customer service from both. Their service always reflected a friendly and empathic attitude which resulted in the prompt resolution of unforeseen situations during the stay.

This is one of many formerly lower-end, older, un-renovated chains that Hilton has purchased and slapped some paint and their name on with little other investment. Don’t let the “Pentagon South” in the listing fool you; it’s purely aspirational. This location is more than five miles from the Pentagon. To *actually* stay in a Hilton property south of the Pentagon, you’d want to book at the DoubleTree on Army Navy Dr. in Crystal City/Arlington, though I have no first-hand experience at this property. The staff here is perfectly nice. I’m told that guests enjoy the “free” breakfast. But think of what you’re paying to stay here, and realize that breakfast isn’t free. Now I understand that Hilton charges $17.25 to park in the small, poorly-lit parking lot at this property. That’s to park yourself. There is no valet. Next door (across the small lot) is a Hampton Inn, now also owned by Hilton I’ve stayed there before, too. Really nice staff. The roof leaked through the ceiling just above where my suitcase was. No worries; they offered to relocate me to another room, wet clothes and all. Across town at Seminary Road and Beauregard is another Hilton. It’s a tower with a convention space attached. I think it was a Sheraton and before that a Raddison. They’ll charge lots to park in their garage, but they may have a valet. You’ll want to use that because it’s a couple good blocks’ walk from the parking structure to the elevators at the lobby check-in. It’s been a couple of years since I stayed there. Nice rooms with a view. I’m sure they’ve fixed the plumbing issues by now,

Ok, not the worse but: I booked a fireplace room, you need to call maintenance to come turn it on if you want to Use it. The floors or walls are very thin, not sound proof. Ok, not the worse but: I booked a fireplace room, you need to call maintenance to come turn it on if you want to Use it. The floors or walls are very thin, not sound proof. So if you’re a light sleeper, beware. The breakfast was awful, not much of a selection. Everything was cold. While some might like attendants standing there watching every move, I found it irritating. Only one night so it was not that terrible. I wouldn’t stay much longer.
