Came here for trump big day !!! Anyway stayed here before a little bit of older hotel but it's still ok to stay if you plan to vist DC. Came here for trump big day !!! Anyway stayed here before a little bit of older hotel but it's still ok to stay if you plan to vist DC. We'll we checked in all smooth they are slowly updating the rooms but hallways right now are the only up date our room was good comfy beds but bathroom needed some work and pressure was ok heat since it was cold was good but at times took a bit I can understand it was in low teens but I suggest redo rooms and update everything it's time ! Resturant on site was good ! Close to dca ! Plenty of parking! Overall good hotel but needs a big update

“Comfortable & clean”

This property is clean and reasonably well updated for the price point; location is within a short drive to Reagan National and works well for a single night before or after a flight. Somewhat bunkered in the sense there are not any stores or dining options within walking distance, and the neighborhood itself is not the greatest one will find in the area. All in all, a good option for a single night.

“Remote location, good price, decent amenities, nasty manager”

We had a bad incident with a manager at the hotel when we arrived early and was told we would need to pay $50 for early check in. It was 1:45 p.m. and check in is at 3 p.m. We decided it wasn't worth it and sat in the waiting area. Anyway, not feeling well, I put my head down on the couch, laying on my side with an airline neck pillow, with my feet hanging off the couch. (I don't ever put my feet up on the furniture.) Then a lady came by and started yelling at me. She told me I couldn't lay down. And when I told her I didn't feel well and asked her "Why" (while sitting upright because of her reprimand) she gave no reason but just kept verbally chastising me and raising her voice. When my husband asked for the manager, she said, "I am the manager." She proceeded to tell me that we could leave and come back at 3 p.m., then she stormed off without returning. We did remain in the lobby (with me sitting upright) until we saw someone being checked in at about 8 minutes to 3, and then we got on line for our room. Rules are rules. But they need to be posted clearly. More importantly, hotel guests should not be subjected to yelling. Never was I spoken to nicely or in a calm manner and no reason was given for me (while not feeling well) being able to lie on the couch. All the other chairs were empty and I was not preventing anyone (we were the only ones there) from taking a seat. I am a world traveler and have stayed in countless hotels and never have I encountered this kind of behavior from a hotel worker, much less a manager. She could have stated her reason calmly and been polite, instead of treating me like some homeless person who had wandered in off the street. This incident aside, the hotel is difficult to find because it is in the back lot behind another one. But once there, you will find ample parking. The room was clean enough with some outdated items and some updated ones. The beds were firm. We had four pillows on each double bed. We had hot water for our showers, and the breakfast buffet was average, but decent. It's a good value for the accommodations. Just don't you dare try to check in earlier than 3 p.m., nor expect to be treated humanely.
