“Great place to stay, clean & modern!”

Beautiful hotel, big room, really nice people working there and a great breakfast buffet. We enjoyed staying there. Fitness room was nice too.

Hotel room is clean and very good. Elevators and rooms are very good. But I see water/ice not works at 10th floor, might be sensor problems.

Solid choice for a family vacation. The location is hard to beat — right on the Virginia Beach oceanfront — and the rooms were clean, well-sized, and had great ocean views. Staff was friendly and on top of things throughout our stay, which matters when you’re traveling with kids. The ocean was a bit cold this time of year, but the indoor pool kept the kids happy and gave them a place to warm up after time in the water. There’s also exercise equipment right on the beach outside the hotel and a playground within walking distance, so there’s plenty to keep everyone busy. The rooms themselves were well done — soft towels and solid water pressure in the shower, which are small things that make a real difference after a day at the beach. Breakfast runs until 10 AM — good for families who don’t want to be up at the crack of dawn. A few things worth knowing before you book: valet parking is mandatory at $15/night, so plan for that. Our room wasn’t ready at 4 PM, which was a little frustrating after a long drive, but the ocean view from the room made us forget that pretty quickly. Overall, great property. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for an oceanfront spot in Virginia Beach.

“Expect wait times for suites and valet. Do not go by the estimated wait time given by the staff.”

I arrived at this hotel around 6pm, I had to wait in the lobby until around 645. I arrived at this hotel around 6pm, I had to wait in the lobby until around 645. Check in times state 4pm but as a reasonable person staying at a high capacity hotel over a holiday weekend, I would not expect guests to wait almost 3hours for rooms. There appeared to be no sense of urgency, and I did not press the issue. Valet had a software that gives you estimated wait times and notifications on if your vehicle is in transit or is ready. The two times I had to use the valet the "estimated wait" was around the time that the valet sent someone to go pick up the car; this was not the time that you would receive your car. The time you received your car was about another 15 to 20 minutes after the software would state. Just a general apathy for wait times was not something I expected out of Hyatt. The max capacity of the hotel cannot change, they just werent staffed for the influx coming in to Saturday night.
