the hotel is located 10 minutes walking from the space needle, chihuly garden and museum of pop. you can even see the attraction from the street of the hotel. there's a wholes food market, chipotle, shake shack and a sephora (for the girls who love this store lol). its very well located and with access to bus/streetcar stations. loved the lobby. I think I loved it more than the bowery lol. the rooms were small but god for a solo traveler like me. housekeeping doesn't go every day but you can request it. the room and the hotel were both in good shape. I did had issues with my tv where it turned off alone and wouldn't come back unless I had the control remote (learned the trick from one of the maintenance guy). it happened two days in a row so that weird. something I complained about at the bowery in nyc is that the ac doesn't work as it should. handling it through the ipad I don't think is a good idea. I wish the thermometer was attached to the wall and we could gradually manage it. I spent like two nights at the bar and had a blast with franchesca, emma, and one of their co-workers from the bar (a blonde bartender! didn't get her name :( ). overall, a good stay and would recommend.

“Fun hotel if you can fit inside the room”

I was in Seattle for a half day seminar. I need to stay somewhere for 1 night, and this CitizenM has near where the seminar was being held. I couldn't believe it was only $115 USD (including fees and taxes) so I jumped on it. I'm a Marriott member, but never tried this brand before. Upon walking in, this place immediately struck me a fun place to hang out. The first thing I noticed were the check-in tablets. That's right - you check yourself in (which explains I didn't get a check in notification via the Marriott app). Someone does come by to check your ID, but from the tablet you confirm your hotel reservation details, what type of room you want, scan your credit card and activate a key card. Their website states they don't have their own parking, so when I asked about a place they would recommend to park overnight, they explained they do have access to a very small number of parking spaces secured lot. It cost $35 for 24 hours. I wouldn't plan on parking always being available though. I went to my room, and it's as small as advertised. But it's well designed. It still had a king size bed with a huge TV. Most things in the room can be controlled using a in-room tablet (such as the TV, day blinds, blackout blinds and even the light color). There's a in-room safe and small fridge. The toilet/shower pod is interesting. I can see by not having standard walls, they save a lot of space. Also cute little features likes the decor and selection of short books to read. But again, it's small. I could lay out my carry-on luggage, but any full sized luggage would not be easy to lay out in this room. I checked out the gym. Small, but impressively high quality cardio equipment: free-run treadmills, Peloton bikes and rowers. Not many free weights though. The main lobby is where the action is. The centerpiece is the wine bar / coffee bar where they front desk staff can serve drinks. Food can be picked up from the canteen. There is plenty of different types of seating in each area including small tables, long tables and lounge areas. Also a ton of books for people to read and a selection of board games to play. Location is excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby and walking to Seattle Centre or Pike Place Market is roughly 20 minutes. Overall, I loved this place. At such a low cost, it's a convenient and fun place to stay. It's similar to a Moxy, but I find Moxy's to be darker and have a more club like atmosphere, where CitizenM is brighter and more art and tech focused. If the price remains the same, I would prefer to stay here than further out like Redmond, Tukwila or Lynnwood.

CitizenM Hotel has great vibes, and the staff was very welcoming. However, the main issue was parking—staff had little to no knowledge about parking options and provided very limited information. This caused a lot of hassle, including paying for parking that was limited to only 12 hours despite our stay being longer than 24 hours. Because of this, I had to wake up at 5:47 AM just to walk back to the parking meter, re-scan the barcode, and pay for parking again, which was very inconvenient during a hotel stay. The bar area had a limited beer selection, but the food was great. The bar is definitely more geared toward cocktails and martinis than beer. Overall, the hotel itself is very nice and impressively high-tech. I would stay here again, but I wouldn’t bring my personal vehicle next time.

Yes, it is a small room. The room’s width is the length of the king bed. You have to crawl across to get in to the far side. If you just need a place to sleep, it’s great - nice and clean. Yes, it is a small room. The room’s width is the length of the king bed. You have to crawl across to get in to the far side. If you just need a place to sleep, it’s great - nice and clean. They really want you to spend time down in the enormous lobby area. Huge bar. I kind of like to hang out in my room and it’s not really conducive for two people to sit comfortably unless you use the bed as a chair. This hotel is clean and very techy, but it’s not for me.
