Traveling and stopped here for the night. The hotel looks nice. However, the walls are very thin. I could hear every time the person next door got a text, used the hair dryer, sneeze , slam the door ,, or cough. The room had a musty smell and the bed squeaked when I lay down or rolled over. I will say the front desk was polite and helpful. Breakfast is basic but you can get full. The toilet seat was loose and needed tightened. The hotel was in a good location for travelers. I would choose another hotel.

“Okay but First & Last Time”

Stayed at the Best Western (Northside) last night. Stayed there to save some money before we get to our main destination. Stayed at the Best Western (Northside) last night. Stayed there to save some money before we get to our main destination. The bed was certainly comfortable but the room could have used a better cleaning. There were webs above the bed on the ceiling. Some fixtures were very dusty ( hadn’t been dusted in a very long time. It was a pet friendly room. Aside from the cleaning their Semi & RV parking was not the best. The parking area (no concrete) had large standing puddles of water. We parked in an area where both of us could get out. In the room, we received a call from the front desk stating we were parked in a “No Parking” area. I let him know that there were limited places to park due to large areas of standing water. He the stated that we could park on the street - REALLY! The street was very narrow. Anyway, will not stay there again.

“Good for the price”

Stayed here last minute because our airbnb had an issue and they accepted dogs. Overall the room was very clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was consistently good every morning. Stayed here last minute because our airbnb had an issue and they accepted dogs. Overall the room was very clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was consistently good every morning. The bed linens seemed new but the bath linens were quite old and one even had a hole in it. They do accept dogs but there isn’t a great place for the dogs to walk with grass. There is a covered area on one side with tables for the truckers to hang out in. The door at the end of the building was an alarmed door only bs a key card door which was strange. The hotel is in kind of a bad area where there are other lower cost hotels. My nephew saw a homeless person shoot up in the parking lot across the street at the Whataburger. The hallways always had what looked like fibers in the floors - I think they cut up old towels to use for cleaning and the fibers from that littered the floors and I never saw anyone vacuum it up. Again for the price this was a decent stay.
