“Good Budget”

Great location. Kinda dim and gloomy. Not very clean looking. Rooms are nice size especially the one with bunks. They have balconies. It's worth every dollar indoor and out door pool.

First, It is not a indoor water park as advertised. It is a kiddie water playground with slides. Stayed 5 nights and overall this is a decent hotel for families and a good value. I have stayed here once before and rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Kids always have a good time. It is just minutes away to everything downtown. Close to restaurants, shops, Noah's Ark and other fun activities. The only major downsides is the building is old and dated and badly needs upgrades. Mold and mildew smells lingering everywhere and place is kept is poor condition in some areas. Rooms have outdated A/Cs but at least they work. One of the drawers in our bedroom was broken and not repaired. The pool areas and playgrounds have peeling paint and huge chunks of plaster are starting to break away which is unsafe and gross. Pools looked dirty and foggy. Pool areas also have chipping paint/tile and cracks. Many areas of the hotel are in desperate need of renovation. Eventually the entire water playground on 4th floor is just going to have to be entirely replaced with a brand new one. The owners just use cheap paint and plaster to cover up everything instead of just spending the money to replace it. Some areas they just cover up with duct tape. Neptune's Bar is never open anymore and looks abandoned. It is advertised to be open Friday and Saturdays evenings. The TV never worked in our room and they didn't bother fixing it and the guest internet is very slow and doesn't even work. Had to use my mobile hotspot which was faster. Didn't bother me so much because we were out most of the time but it would be nice to relax with some TV still later at night. We just ended up connecting my tablet to my mobile hotspot so kids can watch some TV. We never received room service during our stay. We were always out during that time and never left the no disturb sign out but each time we came back no one changed our sheets or towels in 5 days. No continental breakfast. They have snacks, and drinks available in lobby but you have to purchase them. ($5 for one candy bar.) Overall it was ok. I have stayed in worse places. But next time I might spend extra money elsewhere for something more updated and in more working order. Its a decent budget friendly place for families with kids.
