We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel in Tashkent. We booked an apartment suite and it was beautifully designed, with a smart little divider wall in the middle that created separate living and sleeping areas while still keeping the space open and cozy. One thing we especially appreciated during our trip was the excellent washing machine: super convenient and worked perfectly. The apartment was also very well equipped with everything we needed: proper glasses, dishes, cooking utensils, dish soap, sponge, and other thoughtful details that made the stay comfortable. The bathroom even had a towel warmer, which was such a nice touch. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing! A huge variety of fresh options every morning, all delicious and well presented. We also loved that they served sparkling water to take with you to your table. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would happily stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here in mid-September, 2024. These are spacious, modern, clean apartments. The building is in a newer development call Tashkent City which is a mix of apartments, office buildings, shops, and a large park. There are guarded, gate entrances to the district and it is also a very safe area. The Metro is a 5-minute walk and Yandex taxis are very cheap. There is a multi-story mall with a large supermarket across the park, about a 5-10 minute walk away. These apartments are on the backside of the same building the Holiday Inn is in. Just take a taxi to the Holiday Inn and it's a 3-minute walk to the Apartment Hotel entrance. In the entrance lobby there is a 24/7 reception and a local bank ATM. All reception staff speak English, and most cleaning staff speak English too. The apartment had a washer but no dryer, just a drying rack (which is common outside of North America). Otherwise, their dry cleaning is expensive. 60,000 UZS (or 4.70 USD) for 1 pair of pants, so we never used it. The kitchen has two sets of dishes. Breakfast is included and is in the rooftop restaurant at the adjacent Holiday Inn. It would cost 17.25 USD per person otherwise. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with lots of choices. You simply walk through a long, interior hallway to get to that side of the building. In our room the bed was comfortable, and the shower was strong. There are lots of electrical outlets in the apartment. There are three comfortable dining chairs with a table. I had booked 5 nights on-line and chose to pay upon arrival. Unfortunately, the hotel does NOT accept U.S. credit cards (only European, Asian, and Russian ones). This is probably because American visitors are very rare in Tashkent. Ensure you pay on-line BEFORE arriving to avoid having to use the ATM to pay for your stay at the end, and, verify you are fully paid up BEFORE you go to your room. We were heading out early for a flight when I discovered my U.S. credit card did not work. Luckily, they accepted U.S. cash. We still highly recommend this apartment hotel, and would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Tashkent.

His driver's were nice - first Dilmurod, while we could not talk to him, was good. Our driver was last two days, Abdul Rakhin was very very good. Next time we will ask people to contact him directly. The guide for Tashkent tour was a very nice lady but not a guide at all. She didn't know much about the places, and she was not a trained guide at all. We understand she runs her own travel agency and qualified to be a guide 3 years back. In fact, our driver, Abdul knew more about places than her. But I won't name her in any public feedback as she was very helpful and nice as a person. But we don't recommend her as a guide (good as a travel coordinator).

Istaravshan apartment hotel Conveniently located near the metro is a useful location for mobility across Tashkent & for sightseeing A well appointed room has a large bed, table & 4 chairs, wardrobe & a kitchenette. An excellent breakfast was provided in the Holiday Inn next door. Access to breakfast is a circuitous around a service corridor with no lift access to the Holiday Inn, this needs addressing & is unhelpful for people with mobility issues who are forced to use a staircase. The breakfast the Holiday Inn was fabulous, something for everyone. They even gave us a packed breakfast as we departed in the early hours on our last day. Housekeeping came in daily with fresh towels everyday although the towels were past their best and not the best quality. It is worth asking the hotel to arrange a transfer for you on arrival but it will be expensive. Local taxis are more fairly priced. Be aware that the hotel is noisy, the aircon unit can be noisy but they have some sort of air infiltration system of the roof & as the apartments are on floor 7 at times there is heavy noisy banging which is disturbing. The reception staff are variable in their friendliness and professionalism which means that you avoid talking to them. Davour (Dave) is by far the best. A typical response from one of the other men to the noises was, ‘this is a city there are noises!’ You do not get the impression that they are very interested in your comfort. Payment with cards is not always possible so be prepared to take dollars and pay in cash.
