We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pilgrimage Village Hue. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery, with beautiful and spacious rooms that offer a true sense of peace and relaxation. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with a great variety of delicious dishes and impeccable service at every meal. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. A very special thank you to Nina, who was simply exceptional. She took such great care of our family from start to finish, always checking that everything was perfect and going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a huge difference and truly elevated our experience. Pilgrimage Village is a beautiful oasis in Hue, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the city. We hope to return one day! “Space to Grow”

We spent 5 nights here in May 2026 and are a mid-sixties couple. We had read some mixed reviews about this resort. We failed to find most of the faults and all of the positives. This was hotel number 2 out of five. By far the most attentive staff we encountered in our time in Vietnam on any trip. Whilst our room was not ready on arrival, the greeting could not have been nicer. I feared they thought we were from the USA, given the concern that we let them know of any concern or discomfort we experienced. Every staff member greeted us with what appeared the most genuine welcome. I even managed to get into a bit of work with one of the gardeners, planting out an area of beds. It was lovely to get my hands dirty and share a giggle. Apparently due to our stay length (5 nights) we were upgraded to a bungalow. It was huge and seemed more fitting for newlyweds. After 44 years, the urgency may not be there but we do pretty well. Almost needed a ladder to get on the bed and a packed lunch to reach my bride on the other side. The bathroom was massive. A sunken bath and outdoor shower. Water was pipping hot and great pressure. The amenities of the room were superb quality. We even had a nightly turn down service with essential oils. They also provide mosquito netting which I do not think was needed but appreciated never-the-less. This place was punching well above my expectations. We often sat outside under the front porch at night to watch the rain come down. Coils and matches were provided. We only ate dinner here once. We found the food somewhat bland and at 10 times what you would pay outside, not good value. Much better to eat at “Eco” across the road from the resort. Still more expensive than street food but the same great tastes to go with a peaceful ambiance and lovely staff. Alternatively then are plenty of cheap street stalls where the locals eat. You will also find a fair priced laundry (25000/kg). And a barber, should you need it. Breakfast was the best we experienced. The restaurant was quite big, the food options well varied across Asian, western and local. Sadly they only used an automated barrister, so the coffee was very uninspired (sorry that’s an Australian whinge). A big plus, some of the architectural features were a danger to those of us with low vision. They have covered and blocked these to remove the risk of falls and trips. That said, this resort is not suitable for anyone with disabilities. The opportunity to trip, fall and run into things are far too common, let alone the number of stairs making it impossible for wheelchair access. Even the lack of hand rails on the steps of our bungalow meant I could not traverse them without assistance. Now, the resort is very clear that it is not accessible, so this is not a complaint. The pool is very nice indeed. I have read many complaints about a lack of sunlight on the pool and a lack of sun-beds. We did not find this to be the case. We were there over the weekend with many coming in for the weekend, nevertheless plenty of space for all. There are actually 3 pool areas. A general one, one for young families and an adults only one. We preferred the general one as we enjoy watching families interacting. Perhaps being Australian we have long since learnt not to want to lie in the direct sun. I was concerned the place was too far away from the centre of Hue but in realty it was only about 10 minutes by Grab or a hour walking (which was much more enjoyable). They do fog for the mosquitoes twice a week. I understand and appreciate this happening while at the same time worry what that does to the eco system. Given the flush gardens there were a lot butterflies and some small birds about. There are a couple of nice shops at the entrance to the resort, which are well worth a visit. The gym and spa, my bride reported to be very very good. She recommends long leggings for the gym though as the Mosquitos bite. Wonderful staff and for us well worth it.

This is the most INCREDIBLE hotel you will ever go to. I’m from Scotland and I would consider going to Vietnam just for this hotel. Do not skip it if you are in Vietnam. I traveled with my sister and we were not disappointed whatsoever we came in and immediately felt welcomed. Our bags were taken from us and placed in our rooms while we got checked in and got settled exploring our new surroundings. When we got back there was everything in our room. Now the room its self was nothing we had ever experienced before. it was beautiful high ceilings and the most comfortable bed, if we weren’t sad to miss the rest of the hotel we’d probably have slept for about 15 hours straight. Once we arrived we headed to the spa for a very relaxing half an hour massage included in our stay. Then went straight to the pool that felt like our very own for how quiet it was. There was a massive thunderstorm while we were there which ended up cutting the power to all of the resort however the guests hardly even noticed as the generator kicked in within 30 seconds. And all of this wasn’t even the best bit THE BREAKFAST. they had everything your heart could desire and every morning at least one staff member would come up to you to see how the night was and if there was anything you needed. it was so amazing and they really made you feel like you were the most important people ever. The stand out was Ni na, she came up and talked to us all the time and there was another girl that was equally as amazing ( so so sorry we couldn’t remember your name) both and everyone else was so amazing and we really really hope to be back as soon as we can. We have never felt so welcomed in a hotel and the service in particular is what makes this hotel stand out against all other hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Because it’s been 5 days now since we left and we still bring it up in a good chunk of our conversations, we’re very heart broken that we had to leave Thank you so so much, for the holiday of a life time we will really miss this hotel.

“Heavenly”

Loved every bit of it, start to finish, staff continuously went out of their way to do whatever they could to make the stay as good as it could possibly be.
