I’ve been there a couple of times in the last two years, probably one the most relaxing places I’ve ever been. Starting from the room in a pure traditional setting (rooms don’t have as far as I know TVs, and it’s a huge plus honestly in this case) to the very well and unique design of this huge building that situated in the heart of Yen Tu. Many places to discover around the hotel and definitely worth exploring by foot, especially in the early hours when it’s not too hot. Breakfast and Dinner are just great for my taste, they have a good selection of both continental and Vietnamese dishes so you can choose whichever you prefer. The Spa is also really good, a therapist will help you find the right treatment for you while sipping warm tea. You can also enjoying pool, sauna and so on (even booking the the entire area for a little bit, I’d suggest that especially for couples). A proper magical experience especially during certain periods of the year.

“Thank you, Legacy Yen Tu, for a blissful stay!”

My husband and I visited the Legacy Yen Tu in March. It is a destination resort about 3 hours away from Hanoi. The hotel is unbelievably grand. From the spacious lobby with attendants going to and fro in costumes from the 12th Century, to the soaring ironwood columns and prominant artwork everywhere, we were delighted in finding and booking this very special place. The hotel is fairly new, but is made to look like a very old, historic collection of buildings. Our room was just wonderful! We had a huge room with a spacious balcony. The bath area and toilet area were separate for privacy. The bed was very comfortable, too, and the room was quiet at night, except for one night when the frogs outdoors decided to carry on their springtime rituals far into the wee hours. We were looking for a hotel that would bring us closer to nature, and closer to the people of Vietnam. We couldn't have picked a better place! The village was full of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. We went to the evening performance the first night we arrived, and enjoyed the singing and dancing. Each night we ate in the hotel restaurant, and were served absolutely delicious food! The second day we took the cable cars up to the top of Yen Tu Mountain. It was during a festival, and many people were doing a pilgrimage along with us. So we got to see and meet friendly travelers, who greeted us warmly despite the language differences. The third day, the hotel arranged for us to have a driver take us to Ha Long Bay. This was only a one hour trip each way, and was a pleasant excursion in every way! A highlight of the trip was being shown around by Charlie and Kelly. From them we learned the history of the hotel, and how the main architecht, Bill Bentley, came up with the grand design after spending a couple of nights on the venerable slops of Yen Tu Mountain. It is impossible to explain the grand scale of this majestic resort either by words, or by photos. I give my 100% recommendation for anyone who loves nature, history, and luxury to give Legacy Yen Tu a visit.

“Awesome place. World class.”

A friend and I are riding bicycles from Hanoi to ha long Bay. We stayed at this hotel on our last night before entering ha long. This place is super cool. And then we went to the q quan Kim and lam waited on us -- best waiter in all of Vietnam.

“Catastrophic F&B”

Our first time in the MGallery Yen Tu, the hotel design, style and overall village style is very special. Perfect for a romantic trip. Front office are really helpful and efficient. Our first time in the MGallery Yen Tu, the hotel design, style and overall village style is very special. Perfect for a romantic trip. Front office are really helpful and efficient. Accor loyalty is awarded. Personnel are very kind and well trained. Room top cleaned, with an evening turn down. Location is prime. As for F&B, I advise to add bottled water for the evening lounge for elite members, instead of having tap water, in a glass smelling from milk. Another point, when there are more customers at breakfast for example on Sunday, there are issues for refilling fruits, water, drinks, food, etc etc. even egg station wasn't much working during that day.. There was no water that day from 9.30 .. Similar was Saturday. Basically, we didn't expect to come at 9.00-9.30 and find nothing to eat or drink, while closing was at 10.00.. F&B organization is in dire need to improve, even that some personnel were trying their best.. for example, during dinner, my wife's food came literally COLD! Hair from unknown origin in some bread during dinner, a spoon used to kill a fly was given to us at one breakfast with its dead fly. An F&B experience which we didn't expect at an Accor 5 stars and which is non compliant with the MGallery SOP.
