We stayed at Meliá Phu Quoc (The Level) with our family in June, and although this review is rather delayed, I really wanted to take the time to write it because the service we experienced deserves a special mention. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful and very family-friendly, but what truly stood out to us was the genuine care and kindness of the staff. Dedicated concierge service and facilities including dining area and buggies were excellent. Unfortunately, during our stay, one of our family members had a fall and needed to go to hospital. What could have been a very stressful and frightening situation was made so much easier because the hotel team immediately stepped in to help. They arranged a complimentary transfer to the hospital, assisted us throughout the process, and even went out of their way to purchase the necessary medication for us. It was far beyond what we expected from a hotel. The staff didn’t simply tell us what we could do — they took action, checked on us, and genuinely cared about making sure our family was okay. When you are travelling with family, especially with children and elderly family members, this kind of support means so much. A very special thank you to Vi, Binh, Alice, Kim, Selina, Joy and Min for your kindness, patience and exceptional service. You made a difficult situation much less overwhelming, and we will always remember that. Beyond this incident, we also thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Level. The facilities, beautiful surroundings and overall service were excellent, but for us, it is the people who made the biggest impression. Thank you, Meliá Phu Quoc, for taking such good care of our family. ❤️ We would be very happy to return and would have no hesitation recommending this resort to families looking for a relaxing stay with genuinely caring service. 5 stars, especially for the people who made us feel looked after when we needed it most.

We stayed at Melia Vinpearl Phu Quoc with our large family of 10, including children, and had a truly wonderful experience. The location was great for a relaxing family vacation, and the resort was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Our rooms were spacious and well maintained, and we felt that the overall value for the price was excellent. What impressed us the most was the service. Every staff member was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. Since we were traveling with a large group and children, we had several things we needed help with, and the staff always went out of their way to assist us with a warm smile. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of variety and something for everyone in our family. Overall, everything from the rooms and cleanliness to the facilities, breakfast, and especially the hospitality was excellent. We had a very comfortable and memorable family trip, and we would definitely love to stay here again.

We spent five nights in April, and it proved to be a truly exceptional family escape. The beach was immaculate and beautifully maintained, with the sea offering an almost bath-like warmth. Although the water was not at its clearest during our stay, it remained wonderfully inviting for swimming, and the tranquil beachfront setting was deeply soothing. We were genuinely delighted with our accommodation which was the three-bedroom beachfront Level villa, which suited our family perfectly and elevated the entire experience. The buggy service, easily arranged via the app, was consistently efficient and made navigating the resort effortless and seamless. The restaurants presented an excellent variety of cuisine, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dining experience throughout our stay. The Level benefits were unquestionably worthwhile. We particularly appreciated access to the exclusive Level pool and private beach area, while the hammocks along the shoreline offered an idyllic setting for quiet relaxation. The complimentary airport transfers were a thoughtful and highly convenient touch, ensuring a smooth and stress -free arrival and departure. We also made use of the complimentary shuttle to VinWonders Safari, which was a particular highlight for our children and one of the most memorable parts of the trip. We concluded our stay with indulgent spa treatments, providing the perfect sense of calm and restoration. Overall, our experience was outstanding. The spacious accommodation, attentive service, family oriented facilities, and well-considered Level privileges combined to create a truly memorable stay, and we would be delighted to return.

“So-so experience, some good and some improvable”

*** Updated my review following the hotel’s efforts to fix the issue. 🙏 PROS: Great location (near VinWonders and Safari), good lake view, friendly buggy drivers. ❌ CONS: Run-down facilities, overwhelmed staff members due to high number of guests, so-so breakfast buffet.
