Location: Excellent location. It’s not directly next to Hoan Kiem Lake, which I actually prefer since that area can get very crowded and noisy. Instead, the hotel is just a pleasant 5-minute walk away, offering the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Many of Hanoi’s major attractions, restaurants, cafés, and shopping areas are all within easy walking distance. Room: I stayed in a Suite on the 20th floor, and it exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and beautifully maintained. While the interior design leans toward a classic style, it’s truly a case of “old but gold” - timeless, elegant, and full of character. The suite was spotlessly clean, with a separate guest toilet, which was a thoughtful touch. The work desk overlooked Hoan Kiem Lake, making it a wonderful place to work or simply enjoy the city view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had an excellent night’s sleep throughout my stay. Service: The service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. Every member of staff I encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and spoke English very well. A special thank you goes to Ms. An, our room attendant. She kept the room immaculate every single day and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Whenever we met in the corridor, she would always greet us warmly, ask how our day had been, check whether we needed any assistance, and make sure we were satisfied with the room’s cleanliness. Her genuine care and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. Atmosphere: The hotel has a refined and elegant atmosphere that perfectly suits both business and leisure travelers. Despite being located in the heart of Hanoi, the property feels calm and peaceful, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day exploring the city. The lobby is grand and welcoming, and the overall ambiance reflects the high standards expected from a luxury hotel. Amenities: The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. The executive areas, fitness center, swimming pool, and public spaces are all clean and thoughtfully designed. Everything is organized efficiently, making the stay comfortable and hassle-free. Whether you’re traveling for work or vacation, the hotel offers everything needed for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Overall: Melia Hanoi delivered an exceptional stay in every aspect: location, comfort, service, atmosphere, and facilities. The outstanding hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.
