great location with Rice field cover , peaceful place to rest after busy days , Most impressive is staffs in here , they are so friendly, care and look after all customer the same as family members.Chef is perfect with authentic cuisine., local taste not just for tourist Room is perfect , clean and get air from outside , balcony at the front you can rest or sunbath with fresh and natural smell of rice field, heard the birds sings and sometime from frogs love it. The Chic Hotel, a little outside the city centre is just that, chic in every sense of the word. A peaceful haven, tucked away from the hive of activity that is Hoi An and still an easy 40' stroll into the old town. The hospitable welcome on arrival put us completely at ease. We benefited from the beautiful rooftop pool and sampled the restaurant's tasty local cooking. Our large room was spotlessly clean and equipped with both an indoor and out door shower! A big thank you to all the staff for their charm, advice and professionalism. Highly recommend this little spot as a base from where to explore Hoi An and the surrounding area.

This is a beautiful little gem of a place to stay. There's a small hard-working staff that couldn't have been more friendly or happier to provide tips on things to do, make reservations or inquiries, provide advice, etc. The staff gets a solid A. There are only a few other businesses within close walking distance, and the hotel's restaurant is fine if you're in a pinch or just want a cocktail and a snack at the end of the day. There are more restaurants on the main road through town - about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride, but the main touristy part of the Old Town is a 2 or $3 Grab ride away, So paying for a car into town, sometimes twice a day, (or planning around the schedule of the free hotel shuttle) is just the cost of staying out in the middle of all the rice fields where it's a bit more peaceful. We did ride the bikes into town one day and it was a bit treacherous, once was enough for us but perhaps you're more intrepid. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The assortment wasn't huge but enough, and once again the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the view is spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again but there were a few things that could use improving. -We had almost no hot water in our shower for the entire stay. -Of all the places we inquired about exchanging money, this hotel gave the worst exchange rate – by far – so, you’ll pay 3% credit card fee, or an exorbitant exchange rate if you’re paying your bill in foreign currency. -The web site mentions free jeep tours and free classes, but these did not seem to exist
