I have been this hotel before , oh I I like it , nice , clean, good service, good pay, it’s on A busy and lively street, convenient for go to everything, next to shopping mall . The breakfast buffet change every day , not like another hotel 5 stars in right Sai Gon town , breakfast all the same same , I have to pay $300. , $400 dollars /day ? that’s why today I come back again stay in a month. Johnny , lam , Vi , Chau employee happy good take care service. I had try some hotels but I like it stay here next time when I come back again . I give them 5 stars .

We’ve been coming to Athena Hotel for nearly over 10 years now, and somehow, each visit just keeps getting better and better. The consistency in service, comfort, and overall experience is something truly special and hard to find. A big part of what makes this place feel like a second home are the incredible doormen, Phuong and Phong. These two gentlemen are genuinely charismatic, warm, and always welcoming. Every time we arrive, they greet us with such positive energy and go out of their way to look after us. Whether it’s helping with our bags, organizing transport, or simply sharing a friendly conversation, they always make us feel valued and cared for. It’s rare to come across people who take such pride in their work and consistently deliver such a high level of hospitality. Phuong and Phong truly elevate the entire experience at Athena Hotel. We’ll definitely keep coming back for many more years to come.

“Pretty good 3 to 3 1/2 star level local boutique hotel”

Just stayed for three nights before my trip back home to USA after three weeks in Vietnam and Thailand. I had spent a lot of money on four and five star resorts during my trip, so I was trying to keep it a little bit cheaper my final three nights. Found this hotel while still in the airport and booked a superior king room last minute for about $100 USD per night. Hotel was a solid three star level hotel. I usually stay in a bit higher end places, but I really had no complaints here. Our room was very clean and comfortable, although the bed was a little bit firm for my liking. Still slept well and the sheets were fantastic. All the staff we dealt with from check-in to Bellman to concierge were fantastic. At your service with any assistance or help you might need. Needed five cartons of cigarettes to bring home and the concierge was eager to run across the street somewhere and have them ordered and delivered to the hotel a short time later. Really the only inconvenience I had was that you need to insert your room key card into the slot next to the door when you come in the room to provide electrical power in the room. They only issue you one key card, so when you leave the room, there is no power to run the air-conditioning or charge your devices while you’re out. It’s Vietnam so when you come back at the end of the day out and the air-conditioning hasn’t been running it is hot as hell in the room. Also, I was caught off guard a little bit at check-in when they wanted a cash deposit for incidentals. I’ve never had a hotel request a cash deposit for incidentals, they usually just use your credit card. I had no Vietnamese cash on me as I had just arrived from Thailand, but luckily I had a few hundred US dollars and they let me use that. However, they wanted US$100 deposit versus the equivalent of only US$30 that I had Vietnamese currency. But whatever, I got my deposit back at checkout.
