“Comfortable stay and good location”

The hotel is centrally located and is close to metro station as well. There is a vegetarian Indian restaurant nearby which is added benefit for Indian travelers. The service is good and rooms are spacious. I will recommend this hotel to other traveler as well.

I’m not a big fan of boutique style hotels but, being keen to stay in the Central district of Ho Chi Minh City with limited availability, I gave this hotel a try based on some positive reviews. After an exhaustive wait at VOA, I arrived at the hotel at about 2:00 am. As promised, the staff was waiting for my arrival and was extremely helpful at this late hour. I must say, the lobby interior immediately caught my eye....antique polished tables, intricately carved chairs and display cases, antique vases, even a fantastically restored bicycle dating from (what I guess) the 1940’s. The whole lobby spoke to old Viet Nam and was perfectly tasteful and exquisite. The room (I booked a Deluxe double queen, though by myself) was clean, acceptably modern and large enough to not feel claustrophobic (my usual issue with boutiques). The amenities (flat screen TV, WiFi, secure and large safe) all were in great working condition and easy to use. The biggest surprise was a whirlpool bathtub in the bathroom (I don’t know if all rooms come with this) which came into some nice use after some serious day trekking through the HCMC streets. The breakfast (a nice surprise addition to my reservation) was limited in terms of variety, but tasty, hot and satisfying. If you are looking for a room with an exciting view, this is not it, but I frankly am not one to sit gazing out my window for long hours. The neighborhood was a little on the rough side from a looks perspective, but don’t let this scare you; HCMC is an EXCEPTIONALLY safe city and I walked to a neighboring convenience store late at night numerous times with no hassle, threat or bother. As for the staff, I found them very polite, helpful and accommodating.....a very nice group of people. As for some minor niggling, I would ask the hotel to provide “Do not disturb” signs (I couldn’t find one) so that you won’t be bothered by cleaning staff in the morning/mid-day; you’ll need some rest after your airport experience! In addition, I would figure out a means to post the shower head in the event you want to shower rather than bathe. Again, all minor to me, but it would be easy to fix and would be a positive addition to the stay. If you are adventurous and are serious about quality and value (and don’t mind boutiques), I would say you can’t go wrong here. Nice place.... I will return!

I had 1 night experience in Dinh Pat Hotel check in 02 feb and check out 03 feb, 2018. Hotel room look by online so large room and nice but when you check in and stay very small room and poor facilities different so far from what you seen. Very noisy in early morning at cloridoor, house keeper talk non stop and louder. Breakfasf very poor just a bold of vietnam noodle (Pho`) 1 pice of Bana and a cup of Tea and limited no choice.

We booked this hotel because friends had stayed there previously and the location looked good. The check in and out were very smooth and efficient. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds not too hard. Everything worked as it should do. We had the family room with 2 large double beds and the bathroom contained a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately the water only ran very hot or cold. We didn't bother to mention it as we were there to party not pamper! There was no kettle which which was a bit of downer as we had brought some pot noodles in case my perpetually hungry son needed a snack. The staff readily provided a hot water flask when we requested it, but it was not quite the same. There are a couple of noodle shops, a baguette stand and a convenience store with a few hundred metres and it is less than a 10 minute walk to Ben Thein market. The fine art museum is around the corner. The big problem we had was the noise the room maids made from the moment they started work at, I think 5.30am. They chatted and sang, they hacked and coughed, they had loud walkie-talkies to communicate with reception. I don't know if that was just our floor (the 6th floor) or all floors, but it made sleep very difficult even with the ear plugs I always carry in Asia! In summary if you are a deep sleeper this place is great. If you're not and you like to sleep after about 6am, try another hotel!
