Perhaps the biggest advantage of this hotel is the fifteen minute walk to SGN departures; the only caveat being getting across the main road! Like many hotels in Ho Chi Minh City the entrance is welcoming and well-kept while the surroundings, sidewalks and general area might seem run down...but such is this city and it is in no way threatening. Although I had requested a higher floor I was told the best available was 302. No matter, it was a large twin bed room with desk, tea/coffee, multi-function electrical sockets (EU,UK,US etc) excellent shower pressure and hot water supply. The fridge contains mini bar items (staff inspected at check-out). I found the bed was firm but comfortable; bed linen and towels clean and good quality. All the floors are attractively stone tiled but there is some noise when guests drag their chairs/suitcases across the floors above. I suggested to reception staff that placing notices asking guests to by mindful of causing noise, especially at night, would be a good idea. WiFi signals were good; noticeably slow at busy times but no buffering as I recall. No global cable/satellite TV channels available, only 4 local and one Vietnamese English language 'tourist' channel. A well-run restaurant provided a good choice of Asian breakfast items. Those with Western preferences are limited to toast/jam eggs etc. The view from the window of room 302 was hardly inspiring! Looking out over run-down rooftops and at eye-level with the cables of the electrical grid. Not worth a holiday snapshot. That said it was a very quiet area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within a few minutes walk. If you find it hard to choose from the 'streetfood' offerings there is a food court on the top floor of the (almost deserted) Menas Mall with a selection of outlets and one 'up-market' restaurant less than ten minutes walk from the hotel.  I had already done most of my HCMC sightseeing on an earlier visit a week or so earlier and it must be said that the Le Saigon is not particularly well located for the sightseeing tourist. It lies outside the free pick-up areas of local tour operators so there may be extra costs involved and much earlier starts because of Saigon's infamous traffic.  As I only had a 3 night stay the close proximity the the airport was more important for a late evening arrival and an 0500 check-in for departure. I recommend this hotel because it provides a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

“Nice hotel with friendly staff! ”

Very great stay here for four days! Delicious morning food from bred food to many different Asian tasty foods. Great modern hotel room with large bed and very nice bathroom. Le Saigon Hotel have many services including clothes cleaning. Friendly staff with great service!

“Budget Friendly HCM Hotel”

Small & outdated room but can't complain for the price paid. AC could've been stronger. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Floor was still dirty. Free moped parking. Front desk & bell staff was friendly!
