“Pleasant experience”

Good value for money!! Great location . Have been there to study several times, ABBA plays endlessly in the elevator and always makes me chuckle, it's like time stood still. Lily is great, good location, pity they don't do food but plenty of places nearby

I stayed at Saigon Amigo Hotel as an affordable stay whilst seeing Ho Chi Minh City, and it is exactly what it says on the tin! It's a small room, with fridge and working AC. The staff were friendly and were always avaialble on whatsapp to answer any questions you may have. In regards to the location you are 30 seconds away from your nearest 7/11 Conveince Store, lots of ATMs nearby and more than this you are genuinely a 30 second walk away from the start of walking street, fortunately the quieter end then maybe 2 minutes away from the area of nightclubs and loud music,, the end near the hotel is more bars than clubs which was ideal for me. I'd highly recommend Saigon Hotel to anybody who asked, this was a fantastic stay and perfect for somewhere to get your head down whilst seeing Saigon! I also had them do a load of laundry for me on request and it was done quickly to a high standard and returned to me for 92p/KG of laundry.

I originally booked a room without the window, as it was so small i requested the larger room with balcony which I paid extra for. The room itself is larger than average but that about all and their is no privacy about the balcony as you can see through to all rooms opposite apartment, it's only for smokers. The hotel is situated near the busy Bui Vien Street bars. Facilities around the hotels have restaurants, bars, massage, convenience stores, illegal motor bike taxis, drug dealers, pimps, money changer, walking distance to the famous market. There was no complimentary breakfast, the hotel has a restaurant but seen no customers through out my stay. There were no safety box at the time of check-in, requested one and a small one was handed to me, did not use as it was not made secured to a strong point by maintenance. In conclusion, the hotel is situated in the middle of an entertainment area, noise can be an issue. If coming after 2 am, there is a buzzer to call the attendant and at that time the restaurant becomes a moto bikes parking lot. The staffs are genuinely happy and are prepared to assist when are required. {My average rating to the hotel is a 1 and a half * hotel}.
