The culinary class with Rosario was so much fun. The wines were some of the best I have ever tasted! I definitely recommend this Villa to anyone looking to have a nice stay in Tuscany!

My girlfriend, her parents and I did a week long cooking and wine culinary expedition with Villa Schiatti and this experience was outstanding. This was my first time in Italy and I couldn’t be more happy to spend it at this villa. All of the staff were super kind and considerate including Alen. The rooms were a great size and beds/pillows were very comfortable. The restaurant produced some of the best meals I have ever tasted in my life! Compliments to the chef - Rosey! Not only him, but all the staff that took care of us really left their mark. The wines were absolutely amazing and we were always helped with pairing the best one with our dish. Definitely be sure to enjoy a glass of their outstanding red OR WHITE wine! All in all, this was a gem that we found and we will absolutely be coming back. 100% recommend. A big thank you to everyone at Villa Schiatti.

Villa Schiatti is a place you wish to return to again and again – we are just back from our third vacation there and have already started planning our next visit! Something more – every time we set off for our trip to Tuscany with Villa Schiatty being our base, we secretly hope to find everything at this “Piece of Paradise” exactly as we left it, because it is already perfect, especially if you are looking for a true respite from the hustle and bustle of the big cities or strenuous days in the office. This is “your place” if you dream of a slow-paced life (where peace and tranquillity are “disturbed” only by birds’ chirping and songs), of a slow-cooked delicious meals with all products completely organic and locally sourced, of slow-sipping some fantastic world-famous locally produced wine in the evening or aromatic Italian espresso in the morning to go with 4-5 different types of cakes and cornetti (Italian version of croissants) freshly baked every single day. The Villa itself is a historical building, built some 200 years ago, but you wouldn’t miss any of the modern amenities here. All the rooms are en suite with high quality toiletries, air-conditioned, spacious, comfortable, clean and sunny, with free wi-fi, equipped with small fridges and TV sets. There is also a local heating throughout the Villa for the cooler days (they are open for spring, summer and autumn and all the seasons here have their own unparalleled specific charm. The Villa is overlooking neat olive groves and rolling hills with typical for the Tuscan scenery lush gardens, cypress trees and “umbrella” pines. Of course, the Soul of the Villa Schiatti are the wonderful people that work here: 1. The managers Alen and his wife Laura, who are the driving force behind everything that is happening here. For them it is not just a business, but really a matter of love and it can be felt in the heart-warming care for each and every one of their guests, making sure we all feel special and cherished. Every detail in the Villa - the beautiful garden, filled with colourful flowers, intoxicating aroma of the huge wisteria, lemon, orange and almond trees; the features and objects of the interior design, transporting you back in time; the candles and fresh flowers to adorn every dining table and a selection of music, playing unobtrusively at the background – all these details in a very subtle way make you fall in love with the place and its atmosphere of peace and refinement. Alen and Laoura produce their own olive oil, honey and wine, which they offer at the restaurant and every product is of the highest quality. Alen, being local and being passionate about wine, knows everything about local producers, most of them his friends, types of grapes, different terroirs, specifics of wine making, history of the local wineries etc. and has his own fine collection of exquisite wines. It is stored in the Villa’s cellar and he gladly organizes wine tasting for his gests, offering these wines for dinner to accomplish the scrumptious meals served here. 2. Lovely Eva and Federica – front desk girls, very professional, never missing their sincere smiles and not hesitating to go the extra mile to cater for all the guests’ needs – organizing trips, helping with advice and recommendation. By the way, all the members of the staff at Vila Schiatti speak English and many of them – more than one foreign language. 3. The Chef (what a miss – I forgot to ask for his name!), but he is merely AMAZING, preparing incredibly yummy meals) and Stephano and Lino, serving at dinner. We will definitely miss their sweet personalities:-) 4. The girls in charge of the hygiene Radmila and Svetlana – super efficient and fast working, nice, caring and always smiling. To all of them we are sending our heart-felt gratitude for the unforgettable time together, wishing them all to be healthy and safe and hope to meet them all again very soon!

“Villa Schiatti is a wonderful experience, not just a place to stay”
