We just returned from Tngabezi Lodge and can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was. The property is absolutely stunning, and the staff is over the top, attending to our needs. Brian was our guide for the stay and made sure we saw and did everything we wanted to. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and helped us make the most of our three days there. We have never had valets before, and let me tell you, Rita and Phfnius were incredible. They made us feel so special and thought of everything to make our rooms and stay enjoyable. Phinius has a contagious smile that just makes you happy. I wanted him to come home with us! Mike, our bartender, was great, and we kept him very busy! We went with our kids and treated everyone to specialty suites: Treehouse, Nuthouse, and the Honeymoon suites. They were stunning and an experience my family will never forget. Another thing we really loved it that for dinners they would set us up privately at different spots throughout the property...what a personal and special touch. The managers checked in with us every day to make sure we were enjoying out stay. Can't say enough about this lodge...highly recommend. The only thing I can suggest to Green Safaris is to create some Tongabezi merch. I would have loved to have bought a t-shirt or a hat.

We stayed at this beautiful lodge in Zambia for three days and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The staff made us feel at home right away and continued to take great care of us throughout our stay. Each day was thoughtfully planned with amazing activities. The game drives were a real highlight, offering unforgettable wildlife encounters. We also really enjoyed a visit to the Livingstone Museum, which was both interesting and highly recommended. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, with a great variety and excellent quality at every meal. The lodge itself is stunning, with breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. Facilities were also excellent, including a beautiful swimming pool and a well-equipped gym, which added extra comfort to the overall experience. In short, this lodge is highly recommended for anyone visiting Zambia. It offers a perfect combination of luxury, nature, great service, and memorable experiences.

If you are looking for a property that perfectly balances high-end, sophisticated design with genuine soul and impeccable care (and fair price!) Tongabezi Lodge near Victoria Falls is an absolute masterpiece. We chose this stunning lodge as the starting point for my 30th birthday trip, and it exceeded every single expectation. For travelers who appreciate a distinct, curated aesthetic and thoughtful hospitality, this place is perfection. The Tree House: A Design Masterpiece We stayed in the legendary Tree House, and it is easily one of the coolest, most unique places I have ever experienced. The architectural design and overall boho open air aesthetic were exactly what I was looking for. It manages to be completely open to the stunning nature of the Zambezi River while remaining surprisingly comfortable, private, and ultra-luxurious. Waking up and sleeping in that beautifully curated space was a highlight in itself—it has a sophisticated, airy elegance that is incredibly rare to find. A Once-in-a-Lifetime Birthday & Breathtaking Experiences The team at Tongabezi knows how to create unforgettable moments. For my birthday, they organized a dinner on the San Pan—a private floating platform out on the river. It was such a unique, intimate, and romantic experience that made the milestone feel incredibly special. To cap off the evenings, the river sunsets here are easily some of the most beautiful I have ever witnessed in my life, painting the sky in incredible colors. We also packed our days with spectacular excursions. We did a private helicopter ride over Victoria Falls(payed extra but organised by Brian), and it was worth every single penny—seeing the sheer, impressive force of nature from above is a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also did the Livingstone Island visit and the traditional Victoria Falls walk, both of which let you feel the true power of the falls up close. Even though this part of the trip was highly focused on the river and the falls, the safari element was a huge success too. On our very first drive, we were treated to a magnificent sighting of a rhino and her baby! Flawless Care and Attention The staff at Tongabezi are exceptionally awesome and highly attentive. They track every detail of your stay with a level of care that feels entirely personal. Furthermore, they handled my strict allium-free dietary requirements flawlessly, ensuring every meal was prepared safely without sacrificing the high-tier quality of the food. Emmanuel and Brian my thanks to you! The Verdict Tongabezi has captured our hearts. Between the breathtaking aesthetic of the Tree House, the attentive staff, the magical San Pan birthday dinner, and the sheer beauty of the Zambezi, it is a place I would go back to in a heartbeat. If you want a luxury experience with actual personality and flawless execution near Victoria Falls, this is the only place to stay.
