“First family holiday - Amazing! ”

This is our second time in Tsilivi but the first time staying at the Zante Star and also first abroad holiday with our 18 month old. We came with parents too who have been staying here for years so we already knew that we were going to enjoy it here. On arrival the staff were so welcoming, took our cases straight to the rooms for us and nothing was too much effort for them, they even made sure we had everything in the room we needed for little boy including a microwave etc. They also had toys for little ones available in the reception area and board games for adults. The rooms are very spacious and so clean, the beds very comfortable. We didn't have the aircon but the room was still quite a comfortable temperature (September) and there is a shutter door for mosquitos which was a great touch. Our son was also very comfy in his cot every night and slept much better than he does at home! The hotel itself is so clean, I've never stayed anywhere so immaculate before. The pool area is also lovely and clean, it's never a struggle to get a sunbed either. We really enjoyed the food and drinks here too, very reasonably priced and big portions. Happy Hour 7-9pm every night we enjoyed the cocktails and local draught beer. Personal food highlights were the Chicken salad and the cheesy jacket potatoes which me and my son shared most lunchtimes. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk into the main town, but it's a nice flat walk and we enjoyed being slightly away from the centre, as it was very quiet. The beach is not far either, about a 10 minute walk with a strip of beach bars close by. The only thing to note is that the hotel has lots of steep steps and no ramps, so isn't suitable for people with mobility issues, however this didn't bother us as was good exercise(!) with all the drinking and eating, and between us we carried the buggy up and down the stairs and staff were always there to help us. We also had a ground floor room which we requested in advance and they accommodated for us. There was only 1 other little boy there, don't think many kids go there but everyone was lovely with him and he enjoyed his first holiday. Thank you everyone for our lovely stay (Vizzy, Tula, Helen - etc) - we hope to return soon! :)

Plenty of plug points big wardrobe with plenty of hangars. Usual hairdryer in shower room but separate very good hairdryer provided. 6 litre bottles of water in the ion on arrival and can buy more from hotel at good price. Cannot recommend this place more we were only people there on first visit now know why everyone was on repeat
