Yes, guests at Aparthotel Sol La Palma, Puerto Naos, España have highlighted that: From the very first minute of our arrival to the hotel we were made to feel welcome. Around twenty people arrived at a time and there was quite a big crowd at the reception but everyone was given a cool drink and a big smile and the receptionists did their best to go through the procedures as fast as they could. We booked a room with a see view, and the description said that we could either have a room with a balcony or a terrace. Ours was with a balcony and because of other balconies popping out on both sides, we only had a patch of the see view. However, it was big enough to enjoy the view of the palms against the backdrop of the aquamarine and hear the sound of the waves. Moreover, other balconies gave the shadow so that your room is not under the scorching sun the whole day. The room itself was spacious and well designed, with a huge bed, built-in shelves, bedside tables, an armchair, a fridge. The bathroom was big with all the amenities you need - bidet, flexible and adjustable shower head, sink with stone counter top. Both the room and the bathroom were ideally clean; light colors and general design added to the feeling of lightness and freshness. The lack of the see view from the room was more than compensated by the view from the hotel restaurant where we had breakfasts and dinners. We were spoiled for food - the variety of meat, seafood, desserts and whatnot was overwhelming. We liked every dish we tried and there was hardly ever repetitions of hot dishes in those days we spent in the hotel. The restaurant staff was friendly, competent and helpful. I think I saw the manager of the hotel serving as a waiter which, to me, is the sign of true leadership and the desire to know your customers' needs. Sol La Palma hotel is isolated from the rest of Puerto Naos, but this is exactly what makes it so unique and so irresistibly magnificent. The pool visually "touches" the ocean; pool bar offers lots of comfortable places with beautiful views with.without a shadow; beach lovers can enjoy the ocean without having to walk long distance. The huge beach with black volcanic sand is just 250-500 meters' walk from the hotel along the wide paved promenade. This promenade leads to the local bars and beach clubs, and this promenade also offers a spectacular view of the hotel, the mountains, the sunsets and the stars in the night sky. Due to the absence of mass tourism on La Palma in general and the remoteness of the hotel from the capital city, you might get a false impression that this place is for retired people. Yes, there were many elderly visitors there, but there were also middle-aged people and young couples and everyone had a chance to engage in a variety of activities to their linking: chilling at a hotel/beach bar; getting a massage; doing aerobics in the pool; going on hikes to the waterfalls/national parks/volcanoes; taking trips to the banana plantations; paragliding. We were staying at the hotel when the volcano erupted on 19 September and I would like to use this opportunity to thank the hotel team for the excellent job they did during and after the evacuation. I'm not sure if you got trained for the emergency like this but I observed cooperated and coordinated actions of the hotel personal. Thank you for being there for us, for taking care of everyone, for providing us with the support we needed in this situation. You brought us to safety to Tenerife in one of the partner hotels, and this is were it occurred to me that I'm going to compare all other hotels to yours, and, I'm afraid, other hotels will lose the competition. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of La Palma. I pray for their safety and the safety of their property. I pray for the safety of the location where the hotel is situated - this is paradise on Earth and people should be given the blessing of discovering this place for themselves.

“Gem of a hotel!”

Hotel Sol La Palma was in an excellent location near local bars and restuarants, very near to the beach. Staff all very good, nothing too much trouble! Nice touch to see the Manager Sebastien Boue mixing with the guests and staff. Would highly recommend this hotel, looking forward to returning.

“Good refurbished hotel that needs some extra refubrishments”
