To start, this hotel has been the most tentative to everything ensuring all needs were fulfilled. Arriving to the hotel, my spouse forgot her phone in a taxi (ordered separate from the hotel from the airport) and although the staff did not know who the driver was, they showed the upmost concern and care for us. They assisted by offering ideas and calling around until finally the taxi showed up within 15 min and returned her phone. The staff was scrambling more than us! Secondly, it’s not often we come to hotels and be greeted by a manager. At Diamond Cliff, Philip was there to greet us and even invited us to the hotels anniversary celebration. He saw us at the anniversary and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He kindly explained the services the hotel had and if we had any problem with our experience to simply call so arrangements can be made to ensure the best experience possible. Third, We stayed in one of the Romantic suits with a sea view. This suite was amazing and had so many cool features such as a jetted tub near a big glass window that overlooked the ocean. Only negative thing I have to say is that this window has a small cut out at the bottom that is the width of the window. Unfortunately Thailand is hot and humid around the month we went. And this window was allowing the hot air to come into the room We were unable to close it because it simply cannot be closed. Instead I closed the curtains to the tub to trap that heat from coming into the room. It was a constant battle with the AC and the hot air that we were not feeling the extent of the AC. But closing the blinds seemed to help. I simply blame Mother Nature for this. Overall the experience was amazing and I will definitely be back and my spouse agrees. Thank you Diamond Cliff!

We’ve just spent a fabulous ten days at the Diamond Cliff and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the minute you arrive the staff go out of their way to ensure your holiday is perfect, nothing is too much trouble and every request is met with a smile! We had a slight problem with our first room so we spoke to a lovely lady at reception and we were moved to a different one which was perfect. The breakfast is wonderful, so much choice and always very fresh. We ate in the restaurant several time and couldn’t fault it. The two pools are spotlessly clean and sun beds and towels are readily available. This hotel made our first trip to Thailand absolutely fantastic and we are now thinking about returning there next year.

Myself and my husband stayed in Diamond Cliff Hotel as we were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and my 50th birthday. From start to finish the staff were very helpful, whether it was the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the outside security etc. We had an ocean view jacuzzi room and it didn't disappoint. The view was amazing, we sat on the balcony most evenings watching the sun set and watching the waves crash on the rocks across the road. We were just Bed and breakfast and the breakfast was amazing, eggs, omlettes, waffles, pancakes, every type of bread, pastry, fruit, youghurt,, cereal, sushi, fried fish, rice, also every juice and coffee. So much choice. We ate in the hotel a few times for lunch and dinner in the Ocean view restaurant. The hotel have a free fire show every Monday and Thursday and we booked it for a night, i think it was 390 bhat each (or between us) for cocktails and snacks for an hour an a half. The snacks were replenished as soon as you finished them. It was a lovely evening. The two pools were amazing and the staff would walk around with fresh fruit or ice-cream which was a nice touch. We also had a massage at the spa at the hotel and that was lovely. I would definitely stay there again. It was a nice walk (20 minutes) to Bangla road but we got a tuk-tuk or taxi that was ordered by the security man at the door and he always had a smile on his face. Thank you Diamond Cliff for an amazing stay!

“Very hard to get people to understand your problem”

It's a lovely place but we are here now, and have tried for 4 days to get our TV fixed. No one understands us. The place is beautiful, but the lack of understanding is very poor..The staff are friendly just don't understand us. The pools are beautiful and the drivers that take you up to your roo... more

It's a lovely place but we are here now, and have tried for 4 days to get our TV fixed. No one understands us. The place is beautiful, but the lack of understanding is very poor..The staff are friendly just don't understand us. The pools are beautiful and the drivers that take you up to your rooms are great except we are at the very top and they can't take us up there (some do) but apparently the manager says the are not supposed to. Very hard when you are in seventy. I and have heart issues. I have never in my life seen so many steps. I worked in hospitality for 40 years so really just minor things need fixing.
