This was the first stop in Phuket. This is a lovely hotel with amazing staff. We requested a sea view room and were allocated a club room. Didn’t realise the benefits at the time of booking but well worth it. All day soft drinks and snacks, afternoon teas and chefs tasking menus in the evenings with drinks all included. The hotel itself was busy. Having one large pool complex might not be best for everyone but there were dozens of sun beds at the pool and on the beach, some areas quieter than others. We didn’t eat at the hotel other than breakfast and went to the beach bars each day. The local bars and restaurants came alive at night. The town area is a walk away at the far end of the beach. We found the Laguna area more expensive generally. The beach is amazing and our stay was fantastic.

We came back from a family vacation at Saii last week, having occupied two Premium laguna rooms. Everything from the airport pick up too check out was spot on. Despite booking via third party, communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was excellent and they looked after everything we needed efficiently and with very little effort on our side. The rooms we had were ground floor and overlooking the laguna - very peaceful yet not too far to the pools & beach. Spacious, super clean and very new, and generally well equipped, except for the storage space - I missed a wardrobe/chest of drawers to unpack into, there is only an open-style hanger & shelf unit, hardly sufficient for a family for a week - but the room is large so not a massive issue. Any supplies could be ordered via an app and arrived promptly. The amenities, location and the whole setting are all excellent, after a long haul flighht we felt like just relaxing by the beach/pool and we couldn't be happier. Plentiful sunbeds by both the beach and pool, in the sun or shade, lots of activities - for kids and adults alike. Everything is kept clean and tidy, and the sea has good access and good depth for swimming. Monsoon season is approaching so there are some jellyfish - some days more than others. We have not come across anyone getting stung though. Food-wise we only had breakfast at the hotel, which was excellent. We opted not to eat in the hotel restaurants - there is a Tom Yam beach place which offers a small selection of Thai food but it seemed to be mainly burgers and pizzas - we ate there once, it was okay. The other two were international and Italian restaurants - from walking past, the food looked delicious and we would have happily eaten there, but when in Thailand we wanted to enjoy local cuisine. There are plentiful eateries on the beach and outside the Laguna area, within easy access. Drinks are on the expensive side, which is not unexpected in a 5* hotel in the Laguna area, yet easy access to the local shops and stalls on the beach means a larger selection of drink is available at fraction of the price with no more effort than going to the beach bar. There are signs banning consumption of drinks/food purchases elsewhere but it is not enforced. Saii is very environmentally conscious which is great to see, and it is shame that due to such huge price differences there are wrappers and single-use plastic waste around from the stalls. Likewise, generally the guests were polite, but we have seen some letting their children eat grilled corn from the stalls in the pool - disgusting. I appreciate the staff are very tolerant in order to keep the guests happy, but actually a little more rule-enforcement may benefit everyone.

It was either our 5th or 6th stay at the property we’ve been coming here since it was just The Laguna Beach, then the Outrigger and now under Saii. We paid to upgrade to a newly refurbished room and it was definitely worth it about £45 for a week. We also had the club room with access to the Executive lounge which again is priceless for us The pool area was kept very clean and tidy and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunches everyday at the pool restaurant the pomelo and shrimp salad was a favourite. Service was excellent too. The beach is beautiful and we took long walks along it but at the height of the day the sand is boiling hot and there were the odd dead jelly fish but generally was kept very clean and tidy. I used the gym a couple of times is nice and cold with an adequate selection of weights and equipment. “One of best place for family”

Friendly, peaceful, joyful The resort's landscaping is beautiful. Room condition is good. In particular, the Sala space is a perfect space for children. The club service is very good. The slides in the pool are very exciting. The size and number of swimming pools need improvement.
