Just returned after 11 nights. Stayed in room 2324 which had a lovely side sea view over Marmaris harbour area. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were absolutely lovely, unfair to name some but Yakub at the towel station always greeted you with a genuine friendly smile and wave even if you were just passing by,another star was Ferdie who was constantly cleaning around the tables . There appears to be a small army of maintenance people and cleaners who keep the place well presented and clean. We found the food in the main restaurant to be good with lots of choice always Beef,chicken and fish on offer served with rice, mashed potato and of course chips. As said before the staff are constantly going around with dust pans and brushes cleaning up any food dropped by guests from the floor. The snack bar operates from midday till 4pm yes the food is repetitive but it covers the basics ie pasta,chips,pizza, salad. They also cook burgers, koftas etc on the chargrill outside. There is also a baked potato stand which is nice and Turkish flatbed stand where the lovely woman cooks them from scratch on a hot stonebake. I watched the staff cleaning the beach and the public walkway on a daily basis. There was always sunbeds available, the good beds were always reserved early doors as always but you always could get a lounger at the beach or on the small pier which became our favourite spot. The entertainment team were lovely and tried to encourage everyone to participate in the events (which is never a easy thing). If I'm truthful the evening entertainment wasn't really our cup of tea bingo, karaoke etc although the Turkish night was good with traditional dancing and costumes. A nice touch was the barista style coffee bar open from 1000 till 2300 and a separate patisserie which operated from 1400 to 1600. The choice of cakes was tremendous . Choice of drinks was fine with Efes on draught. There appeared to be a limited amount of branded spirits available, rumour had it one bottle of Gordon's gin,smirnoff vodka jack daniels in the bars and you had to ask for it and when it was finished only local spirits were available. Not a problem for us but others might not agree. My only gripe regarding the two bar's was they appeared to run out of clean plastic glasses which resulted in your drinks of choice being served in either really small glasses or served in paper cups which is my personal pet hate. Finally our room was adequate. Air con perfect, cleaned daily but personally we found the bathroom really small with the WC too close to the shower cubicle and the shower cubicle itself was also very compact . We had a couple of dealings with the reception staff who found polite and helpful. First occasion we reported our air con unit leaking water and my wife asked for extra blankets (l know!!) The second time was us asking for help to contact our private transfer company this was done by a lovely girl on reception called Baysa?? Who contacted them for us and confirmed our pick up time, again thank you.The hotel location is good surrounded by shop's and restaurants. There's a dolmus stop right outside the hotel and you can walk to Marmaris cetre or Icemeler along the beachfront So overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend and are looking to return later in the year

Firstly this is an in-depth review and I'll feature both the good and bad as this is fair. We arrived Tuesday afternoon booked a sea view room and asked for High floor well in advance. Got given block 1 room 1302 had a pool view and a small view of sea but palm trees are huge so not entirely seaview. Last year we had block two and full sea view, these are now called beachfront rooms so if you want the full proper sea view book those not a seaview. Our room walls are paper thin and we had disrespectful neighbours, It seems to be the British on holidays. Don't have any respect for anybody else but themselves and they are constantly shouting and being rude to one another which is embarrassing being British ourselves. In the room that we stayed in, there was an electrical buzzing noise from the bedside reading light and it wouldn't stop no matter how much we tried. It was also such a noisy room and tiny in comparison to what we have had before, The lights were extremely dim and if he wasn't careful this could be considered as dangerous if you fell over something. We went downstairs and spoke to Bayzer who said come back tomorrow after 10 and we will see what can be done. We were shown around another room in block 2 on the top floor and this was much better, slightly larger and a brilliant view as shown in our photos this was classed as a side sea view but had more than the previous one. The walls are again paper thin and British people need to stop being so rude and loud on holiday and also cheer up! Felt like I was at Butlins holiday camp for the over 50s no offence! The shower is constantly hot or cold. There is no in between and sometimes this could be dangerous. Especially if you have young children, you could end up scolding yourself. The air conditioning is also very temperamental. You have to ensure that you slam the balcony door and lock it for it to work, all holiday we did this and it's annoying. The hotel itself is extremely clean and all staff members we spoke to were very friendly and happy to have a chat and couldn't help you enough. The spa guys are a little bit pushy when it comes to their sales techniques. If you're not interested, just keep saying no we went and spent £90 after being bugged so much but in the end it was worth it. The food is fine and enough to feed any fussy eater. Plenty of beds around the beach but in the summer months I imagine you'd struggle for both the beach and pools. The rooms just need a bit of updating and tlc maintenance as they are looking very tired now. We would return again simply because of the location and the people but please new owners focus on upgrading those rooms and making them bright and inviting instead of dark and unwelcoming. So just to recap, a top tip would be if you're booking this hotel, please ensure you select a beachfront Seaview room if you want the biggest rooms and the best views. If you select anything other than that, just be prepared to get a small room and one that's not very comfortable potentially. Other than that, enjoy your holiday!

Lovely hotel and staff. Stayed in a room which was on the main road. Nice room but walls were paper thin. Could hear everything in the roo.s next-door. Downside is tge fact tgat people didn't take into consideration that others may be sleeping at 2am when they're returning from a night out
