“Nice place for a business trip”

I like the hotel. The area is completely silent and there is a shopping mall near there. The rooms are clean, tidy, and designed simple and useful. The staff are friendly. If I be in coppenhagen, I will be here again. I suggest here for business trip.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is a bit outside central Copenhagen but easily accessible by the very nice metro. Parking was pricey for being so far out and had to walk down the street for coffee in the morning. Great park in front of the hotel in case you get to go for a run.

When we recently visited Copenhagen, we decided it would be best to stay a bit outside the center of the City where we could park our car affordably and then take the Metro into the center of town. The AC Hotel Bella Sky total nails this requirement, with really affordable parking at the nearby Golf Club, and a short 5 minute walk to the Metro that takes you right into town. This is a thoroughly modern hotel. Quite dramatic in fact, with modern architecture and modern rooms to match with floor-to-ceiling windows with commanding views of Copenhagen. We could see all the way to Sweden when the air was clear, and after a couple of days of exploration the landmarks in Copenhagen are immediately recognizable on the skyline! The location itself is a bit weird, as the hotel was obviously built to service the needs of the tradeshow and event industries since it is adjacent to a large convention center and sports venue. Given the pandemic, it is clear that the facility has been through challenging times, and it is clear that the place isn't quite back to full strength. I say the location is weird because there are a bunch of apartments located nearby, a few restaurants, and a metro station, so it is hard to get a feeling of any kind of neighborhood from the place. I'd have to say that a vast majority of the visitors to the hotel are business people here for conferences or sporting events. The rooms themselves are very modern with comfortable beds and linens, but maintenance is lacking and the housekeeping is far from optimal. Our room has a broken towel rack, some stains on the shade that covers the window (necessary since the morning light WILL wake you up), no regular coffee (only decaf) and an incredibly squeaky headboard that would create a big racket whenever you sat or moved on the bed. I pointed all this out to management, who are super friendly and very helpful, but unfortunately nothing was fixed during our stay. They did make up for some of this by comping us breakfast, which we really appreciated, but we'd rather the room be sorted from the outset with no issues, to be honest. The breakfast is worth mentioning since the spread is large, the coffee excellent, and the selection is varied. Be sure to book this with your room though, as purchasing it after the fact is expensive. Actually eating out in Copenhagen is expensive EVERYWHERE, and a local actually shared that the won't eat out because of this, but when you are touring that is not really an option, although there is a Netto near by that has a large selection of sandwiches, pastries and beverages so if you wanted to save some money you could easily bring back some food to the hotel to enjoy in your room. Overall, I'd say the staff at this hotel were excellent, but the maintenance and housekeeping are somewhat neglectful, especially when an issue is raised. But the helpful and friendly staff really did take the edge off the issues, and as far as logistics, it is likely hard to find a better value in the Copenhagen area that offers easy access to the City, low cost parking (I got parking quotes for hotels in the center of town of 75 euros PER NIGHT, we paid about $50 for three days of parking at the Golf Club nearby! Overall, the value for money and location makes this a place that we would stay at again. That being said, I think I would be more adamant that the issues with the room get addressed or ask to be moved to a room that had no issues. The staff are lovely and really make you feel welcomed, which definitely made this the most welcome we felt during our travels in Europe, so if they fix the room issues they could easily get 4 or 5 stars... hopefully we'll have the chance to visit again and up their raiting!
