Vincci Evereden Beach Resort

“Great start isle hopping in Greece.”

The staff and hotel were very accommodating. Breakfast and dinner were great. Access to the beach was very close. Relaxing environment. The grounds and pool were lovely. I recommend to anyone who want time out of the city.

This resort style hotel is just fabulous. The personnel are true professionals. Housekeeping do a sterling job. Every part of the hotel is shining and spotless. Particular thanks go to Ioanna Genova, who went above & beyond. Nothing was too much for her. So warm and friendly. She is an ambassador for the hotel. It is because of our initial contact with her, that we decided to book this hotel. There is also Sofia at the pool restaurant. Her smile is contagious. So friendly and welcoming. She is team captain, but all of the Il Centro team are fantastic at what they do. Very attentive. I must mention the chef Nikolaos. Some of the best food we have eaten was at the Il Centro restaurant. I wish it had been open in the evening as although the Evereden beach restaurant has a similar menu, the food did not taste the same. It was good, but not nearly as good as Chef Nikolaos.My only negative is the location. For us it was not a problem as we had a car. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Evereden. Positives: Staff are welcoming. Very clean rooms and gardens Large main pool, but it is not heated!!! Indoor pool was far too busy to use as it was constantly full of small children. Medium outdoor sized pool, furthest away from reception, was closed - hotel said this was because the hotel was shutting for winter … but the hotel was still open and busy!!! This was very disappointing and wasn’t advised to us prior to arrival. Small gym which can be busy at times and no equipment available due all the equipment being in use. Few poolside cabanas … guests queue up in a morning to secure one!!! (this is incredible but true!) Standard Deluxe bedroom with a side sea view is very very small and the en-suite is tiny. The hotel website states the room is “spacious”. This is not the case at all. Do not book one. We were very pleased (and grateful) that we were able to change our room to a larger bedroom which was nice and made our holiday much more enjoyable (thank you Evereden!) Food - Breakfast: buffet style - very good selection of different foods, for all tastes. (Hot food not always as hot as it should have been). Nice freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff didn’t clear used plates until you completely finished your breakfast. Evening dinner: buffet style - large selection of different meats etc, and lots of other items but was not as hot as it should have been and only a few of the foods are labelled, this was a problem as we needed to know about food allergies which are largely overlooked by the hotel. But even things like the soup flavour was never labelled. Also being buffet style, we noticed guests of varying nationalities, were not as hygienic as they should have been!! Used plates from various courses were not cleared away in a timely fashion from tables. This was every day. No coffee available in the restaurant at dinner which was also disappointing. Food overall was “ok”. Nice beach bar area but the cocktails were not great, ie diluted. Negroni was not the best. The Irish Coffee in the main hotel bar lacked alcohol. One of the worst Irish Coffees if ever had unfortunately. Also, various drinks weren’t available, again we were advised that this was the hotel was closing for winter! Little evening entertainment, just on a Friday and Saturday. The vocalist and keyboard player on the Friday were very good; the violinist on the Saturday was very talented but not very cheerful music for a Saturday. Bathroom in bedroom had a slight smell of drains (as also commented on by other guests on TripAdvisor) There’s little to do or see. in the vicinity of the hotel but it’s a hotel where you come to relax, eat... Overall, this is still a good value hotel in pleasant surroundings and for a few days it is a nice place to have a vacation, and offers value for money if you book early as we did. You must book one of the larger rooms.

This is a beautiful, pristine hotel with gorgeous grounds and facilities and very friendly staff. The pools are amazing and very comfortable sunbeds. The bedrooms are all fabulous and we were even upgraded for free! There are a few things that let this wonderful hotel down that could be so easily addressed though. 1. The food is delicious and the restaurant so stylish but most of the food is only just warm! We mentioned it twice and it seems they are aware but do nothing about it. This is the case a breakfast AND dinner sadly. 2. The bathrooms smell badly of drains. Apparently it’s a common issue in the hotel. 3. No way to use the smart TV function in the rooms ( for Netflix etc) and no English channels. 4. The hotel is in a beautiful setting but no town nearby so night time activities are very limited as the hotel doesn’t have any entertainment. We found ourselves back up in our room by 9pm. Having said all of this the wonderful ambiance of the hotel and beautiful pool made our 5 night break amazing and we would certainly return for a short break in the future.
