After a long day of driving we finally arrived. Bright blue and welcoming we were ushered inside. Fantastic big room with solid wood furniture. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. Although limited English (and we spoke limited Spanish) we managed to get somewhere sorted for dinner and other recommendations for sights. It is a little out of town but so quiet and peaceful and provides great views on a clear day. The little town has everything we need. Great value for money too!

I can't say enough good things about this charming little hotel. Since we got there one of the owners greeted us and showed us the room. The room was super roomy. We were traveling as a family of four. The quadruple room is great for family with big window overlooking the mountains. The hotel is located in a small little town called Bode very close to Arriondas. It is a rural hotel, so you are in close contact with nature. The bathroom is also very roomy and comfortable. Not to mention everything was extremely clean. We chose this hotel because of the great reviews it got, but when we arrived, it was better than expected. The breakfast is also very good. Simple but enough for the morning. We got there sick, so we were late for breakfast and the lady waited for us to finish our breakfast and in some instances replenished the servings. We had such a great time, we stayed there again and they treated us like family. Definitely recommend this hotel, you won't regret it.

Located about 2 km outside Arriondas, this is an old farm type building which has been beautifully restored and redecorated to form a small hotel. The house itself is bright blue and our room was lime green with warm yellow bed spreads, all in very good taste. It has been expertly designed to include modern wooden furniture and exposed stone walls. We had room 6 which consisted of a bedroom, an ensuite bathroom and a balcony room with 2 comfy chairs. The beds were very comfortable. All this was excellent, what really let the place down is the breakfast and the service. When we checked in we were welcomed by one of the three owners. He informed us that no one would be available after 7 PM. For that we received an emergency number. Later we learned that he lives with his family on the premises but obviously cannot be bothered with his guests in the evening. In the morning we encountered a breakfast that consisted of all plastic wrapped foods, including horrible pre packaged bread (bimbo), the type that is better for using as clay. There was nothing fresh on the table. There were tea bags but no hot water.
