“A good stay”

Great hotel at a prime time location! The rooms are nice with nice showers. We had the jr suite and there was plenty of room in there. The bathrooms are clean. If you have a king bed it’s just two twins put together unfortunately but it def got the job done. Great breakfast in the mornings too

“Little gem”

Beautifully interior and clean room. Service was amazing. The staff were super helpful with recommendations and our request for late check out was easily granted. The room was spacious which was unlike other hotels in Italy - it had enough space for 3 people and the beds were so comfortable.

This hotel is located in Piazza San Lorenzo which is perfect to walk to any site in Florence. We found ourselves able to pop in and out of room throughout the day while visiting sites. This hotel is located in Piazza San Lorenzo which is perfect to walk to any site in Florence. We found ourselves able to pop in and out of room throughout the day while visiting sites. Also easy walk from the train station. The hotel facilities are great. We had a nice big room with a separate little foyer with a table and two chairs. Also two separate areas to hang and store luggage. We paid for a family suite with a view which included two beds and a sofa bed per the description. We thought this was perfect so our teenagers could sleep separately. However be aware that even though they advertise three beds we were not permitted to use the sofa bed. They wanted to charge us $50 euro for sheets to use the sofabed!!!! The lady was not very nice and kept telling me we have two big beds for four people and if we wanted an extra sleeping area we would have to pay $50 euro more. They say they charge per person but this woman would not agree to give us sheets. Also be aware that they will come into your room any time you are out. We left for a little while and came back to notice they took our blankets away! Another time we were resting and housekeeping came in. You must keep a card in the wall to keep them from coming into your room. There is no do not disturb door hanger.

Good location, nice staff, a few fundamental problems. This hotel has a really central location opposite San Lorenzo church and is very convenient for a short break in Florence. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are big. Soft furnishings good. Fittings are a bit tired e.g. broken shower door, air conditioning not working, no hot water for 2 days. I wouldn't class it as 4 star, instead maybe 3 star. We were given a discount for lack of hot water, but it would've been better if they had just sorted it out more quickly. Quite noisy streets nearby, so if air conditioning not working is a common problem, keeping windows open in the hot weather would be problematic. Would possibly return in the future.
