My wife and I, and a friend of ours, stayed two nights in early October in this wonderful vacation hotel. The Portuguese manager was super friendly and helpful. She spoke fluent English in addition to German. She provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations, most specifically Restaurante Esplanada Estrela do Mar, warned us about the late afternoon tides at the gorgeous local beach, a five minute walk away, and provided towels for the beach. The rooms were simple, but comfortable and quiet, while the breakfast was extensive and full of fresh goods, including eggs from chickens belonging to the hotel. The facility is well-kept and includes a garden and swimming pool. Some rooms have balconies with sea views. We stayed on ground level rooms with sunny terraces. Free outdoor parking and wifi. This was an ideal place to relax and get away from it all. We relaxed and/or walked on long mostly deserted beaches. We wished we could have stayed longer and hope to return one day.

“Nice,cosy,friendly, best breakfast in Portugal”

This was such a nice place. No 5*-Hotel, but who needs stars on a clean, absolutely friendly,modernized place with breathtaking views? The pool is huge, the big garden well maintained, The breakfast was just great and the owners super friendly: the place to be!!!!

Our room was simple and clean, with a small balcony with a view of the Atlantic. It's a short walk down to the beach; it was windy and cold when we were there, but couldn't resist a short beach walk. Our hostess recommended Estrela do Mar for dinner and made reservations for us; excellent food and it's perched on a cliff overlooking the tide. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choices. The drawback: the B&B was very hard to find. The mailing address may be Sao Pedro de Moel, but it's about halfway between Sao Pedro and Nazarre. We had to stop twice to get directions and the signage isn't very good. Note also that there are no restaurants nearby without a 15 minute drive.

“Cosy , Comfortable and Friendly”

The Manageress was a very pleasant and friendly lady . The rooms were very clean and tidy . I have stayed 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. I hope to return to this lovely place again . There is sauna and a swimming pool .
