“Adequate but very restricted wifi”

Stayed 2 nights. Though accommodation is basic, the apartment was clean, adequately stocked and furnished. However the blurb advertising Sol y Playa apartments said wifi available in all rooms. Stayed 2 nights. Though accommodation is basic, the apartment was clean, adequately stocked and furnished. However the blurb advertising Sol y Playa apartments said wifi available in all rooms. Not so. Wifi is only available if you sit on the step outside the reception area. Also, reception is only open 1 hour a day (12 noon until 1.00pm). Not very convenient as people are generally out during the day time. Don't know what it's like on the top floor but there's no chance of the sea view advertised if you are on the lower floors.

These BASIC apartments really show their age and are in need of refurbishment, that said they are reasonably well maintained and in a great location being equidistant to beach and the entertainment centres. These BASIC apartments really show their age and are in need of refurbishment, that said they are reasonably well maintained and in a great location being equidistant to beach and the entertainment centres. The worst aspect is the rather poor showers - poor shower fittings and hot water runs out quickly. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty cupboard space. Kitchenettes could be slightly better equipped but they are adequate -just! You could do worse than stay here, there again some apartments in the area that have been refurbished ould probably be better value. Would go back for a week but for any longer would look for somewhere more up-to-date.
