We have stayed in various hotels across the Canaries. Allegro Isora blows them all away, We arrived and were welcomed by the lovely Fernado who explained all the different pieces of information we would need and was happy to answer any questions, he even suggested as we had arrived at 21:30 to come back to complete checkin as the restaurant was still open if we or the kids wanted to eat and drink from the journey. We got to our room which was very spacious with a room for us, a bathroom and two sofa beds, a kitchen and a balcony. We all slept well in that room as the beds were comfortable. Food is really good and there is always plenty of choice with fresh grilled meat, fish , veg, pastas (hot and cold) salads and deserts in the main restaurant. There is also the snack bar by the pool which does food all day. While we were staying we found ourselves having breakfast there most days, while there was less choice it was also more relaxing and quiet and had the scenic views. It also during the evening had an option to book to have your meal there BBQ style. Drinks are all good also, with measures of spirits served to the taste of the individual, a shout out to Costas who was always smiling and often running the drinks van at the evening entertainment. Plenty of choice here also for alcholic drinks, kids drinks, self serve soft drinks, beer and coffee machine during the day. Entertainment again is really good with a wide variety of shows happening during the evenings from comedy, to magic and acrobatics. The kids club is fantastic, and a shout out to all the team who look after the kids so well but especially to Alex who really goes above and beyond to make friends with the kids and runs the evening mini disco with gusto. I would also like to point out that this is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at, they are constantly cleaning, the guys are out jetwashing round sunbeds from when the pools close and still going in external areas at 22:30 at night. Yes there were some issues with wifi, but while we were there there were engineers installing additional access points etc to ensure this improves by summer. Also while there on the last day when it was quieting down, they emptied the heated pool to do some minor repairs and also changed the stairs at the family block to a ramp. It all points to a hotel that is trying to keep and maintain good standards. All in all a fantasic experience and we plan to return next year.

Solo parent trip. Great break. Just enough to do to keep myself and my 8 yo old daughter entertained with time out to relax too. Highlights for me were the daytime pool bar (your best chance to grab a cocktail if you want one as queues are too long in the evening) and massages at the spa (great value and two of the best massages I've ever had!). If you plan ahead you can time a massage around the kids club activities 😉 For my daughter the highlights had to be the water slide and the evening entertainment. She's very shy, but loved the entertainment crew too - their boundless energy is very impressive, and kudos to them! We appreciated all of it 👍 The food was great - what I expect of 4 star all inclusive. If you are willing to be a bit adventurous there was just enough variety - the local fruit and fresh tuna when it was out was lush. We were in block D. Nice balconies and plenty of space around the pools. We love a beach but Playa del Arena not an ideal holiday beach with young children. Too many steep surfs and riptides. Coast guards are on it, but we still saw injured adults walking away from what was supposed to be a nice swim, and terrified parents when tides came in unexpectedly high and washed everything out with them (including nearly the odd toddler) - look at it and walk away would be my advice. Never to be deterred from the sea though, I suggest you ask reception to order you a cab and go to Los Gigantes and take a trip on one of the whale and dolphin watching boats. Same surf so take your travel sick pills and maybe a light waterproof, but great value for two hours. We saw both whales and dolphins, plus beautiful cliff nesting birds, and had the option to swim safely in a bay away from the tides and feed the fish. I'm not one to go back to the same place, but I wouldn't hesitate to book here, and felt totally safe holidaying solo with my daughter.

This was our first holiday since Covid. It was a great choice of airline (Jet2) and fabulous resort. Everything about the resort was lovely. The journey from airport 1hr 15 mins. Check in smooth. Small reception desk but a massive reception area. Arrived late evening not enough time for food but the bar was open until 12. All staff very welcoming. Every single staff member. There was one particular male staff who was a little loud packing away the chairs in the bar. He seemed happy to do so!! All inclusive plus worked great for us as a family of 7. No fuss about where to sit at meal times. We were happy with the snack area 11-6pm although breakfast and lunch were very good too. We didn’t do the Al a Cart as part of our package as the younger children ages 6, 4 and 1 wouldn’t fancy it. The bbq was worth booking which we did once. We also ate out at the Indian Restaurant Babu down the road. The cleaning was a little hit and Miss as I think our room was always tidy so only had the beds changed on one occasion when I stripped the bed myself. Other cleaning great bathrooms and towel change great. The welcome pack as part of the AI Plus was lovely. Cava, Mini Fridge stocked once, skipping rope for children and lollipops. The Teepee ⛺️ in the room was a hit with the children who used it everyday and had the desk and chairs under it. Also a play mat too. The blackboard and whiteboard with chalk was great too. The balcony was a good size with a clothing rack fixed to the wall that was obscure but we found it a great resource. The toiletries in the bathroom are brilliant. Robe and slippers as part of the AI Plus package. We were in the Barca Family Apts Block E 309 and E310. We were able to use the fire escape stairs to get to the reception area quicker than using the lift the other end of the corridor. Entertainment Team we’re great. We could also view entertainment perfectly from the room with direct view of the performances. A great children play area behind the stage where performances take place. Great kids club and great times 10:30-1pm And 3pm-4:30pm I think. Large complex with many pools I think 5 plus a kiddies pool. Two are heated however they were cold because the main ones were freezing lol. There was no safety box in room E309 however one was provided after about 3 days. Amelio in the main resteraunt was amazing. The supervisors excellent and the main bar man who looked after the Drinks Truck when the shows are on was awesome too. The staff are an absolute credit to this resort. Even the grounds staff and the decorator too. The lifeguards were very attentive and the pool maintenance guys too. Great idea to have the bins around the pool area to put your empty cups in or rubbish. Very very tidy place. We didn’t do any excursions as we planned to relax so can’t add anything about that. Didn’t venture into the beach area but the views and mountains spectacular. First time I’ve seen a black Sandy beach. The walkways around the pool areas have Accessible ramps and stairs. The complex size was superb as it was so spacious over Easter and no issues with poolside beds. Loved this holiday ❤️❤️❤️

Our recent stay at Allegro Isora was great! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We never went hungry, as the meals provided were plentiful, although the food did become a bit repetitive after a few days. The pools were a highlight of our stay, always clean and inviting, and we were pleasantly surprised that we never had trouble finding a sun bed. Cold pools were freezing at the start but fine when you are in them for a minute or two. Black sand beach down the road was good, but was a little rough and a few stones being thrown about by the waves when we were there. But very nice to look at. Our room in block D was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. However, the sofa bed left much to be desired in terms of comfort. One minor inconvenience was the timing of the cleaner's visits in the morning, which sometimes interrupted our plans for a leisurely lie-in. 9am was just a tiny bit early for us! Overall, Allegro Isora provided a fantastic holiday experience!
