I stayed here largely because my usual hotel, the K&K George was closed for renovations. The Fraser Suites are very well located for access to Piccadilly tube stations, providing easy access from Heathrow and to major sites in London. The Natural History museum and V&A are very close. Princess Di’s favourite Italian restaurant, Di Mario’s, is also a short walk away. I arrived at the hotel very early, despite delays due to lost luggage. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and allowed me to check in immediately. They also helped with trying to locate mt luggage. As the suitcase had not turned up by the time I was due to check out, they allowed me to stay in the room longer. I had breakfast in South Kensington the first morning and the hotel the second morning. The hotel breakfast was a continental buffet and was very good for the price. The room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and the bathroom very good. There was a small kitchen for those wanting to self cater. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming and I don’t understand how other reviewers could be so critical. The only slight negative is that, like all hotels on busy Cromwell Road, the room was slightly noisy. I will request a room not facing the road next time I stay

I stayed at Fraser Suites Queens Gate for three nights. I had to depart hotel early due to family emergency. I stayed in two different room types and had opportunity to view other rooms. I am a corporate meeting planner so I’ve seen a lot of hotels and rooms. The rooms are lovely. All rooms are neutral with pop if color. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. They are all a bit different since the building itself is older. My understanding is they have all been recently renovated. Regarding negative comments about staff. I had good experience with exception of one at front desk. Staff seems to be all new and eager to help(with the exception of the one mentioned but my guess is she has been at hotel for awhile. Hoping to return to hotel in the future.
