“Great stay and hospitality ”

I am always happy to stay at the Sheraton Market center. The property is great. But what makes the stay great is always coming back and seeing the employees. Ms Zinnna Erica and Mr. Leonard who works overnight. The restaurant staff are also awesome. As always thanks for a great stay.

They do get extra points here for the staff. They make the place tick. It's older and some of the rooms so it, but it is comfortable and very convenient to the Dallas Market. The room a has a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. Bathroom had a tub/shower which was fine. I had very low lighting in this room, but it was a short stay. A floor lamp had the knob missing making it a fun challenge to turn on and off. Closet was super inconvenient and small, but worked OK for the short trip. Maintained, but older and needing updates. Breakfast in the lounge was nice and convenient. A 3-star hotel, with awesome staff giving it a nudge upwards.

“Dissapointed”

I stayed at this hotel for a month in August 2023. The hotel was mostly clean and the suites were nice considering the duration of my stay, but the hotel has some issues. I had to change rooms after a few days as my air conditioner kept failing. It was 85 degrees in my room. Tech came and fixed it but the fix only lasted a few hours before it was broken again. The tv has a channel guide with programming information, but after 2 days the programming information went away and never came back for the rest of my stay. It’s not a huge issue, but considering they had this capability one day and it was gone the next, I’d say they had a technical gremlin that didn’t get fixed. The staff in the bar was fantastic, but the restaurant isn’t very good. Some dishes were good and others were inedible. Also, some m pretty sure I never got the exact meal I ordered. Once I ordered a margarita pizza, but ended up with a pepperoni. Another time I ordered sweet potato waffle fries but got regular waffle fries. However my biggest gripe was the restaurant doesn’t answer the phone. I asked about this and the front desk told me they don’t answer because they aren’t doing room service. That’s fine, but some people like to order food for pickup rather than having to come down to order and then wait 15-20 minutes for their food. The front desk told me they would be happy to take my order and give it to the restaurant….which was a great work around that I appreciated, but when I went down 15 minutes later to pick up my burger, the front desk hadn’t given the restaurant my order. That’s the sort of disappointing service that leaves a bad taste in a customers mouth. If they hadn’t offered to take my order I’d just have come down and placed the order myself, but to offer to take my order and then never put it in is totally unacceptable. The final issue I had is that after staying 29 nights, I never received stay credit in my Bonvoy account. When I asked why not, I was told it’s because my company was paying for my stay and not myself. Keep that in mind if you’re traveling here on business. I didn’t even get credit for the money is spent in the hotel during my stay and that expense was not covered by my company. My experience wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. It was average.
