We had a very positive experience during our stay. The manager was both personal and professional. A hot breakfast was served each morning. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed on the 2nd floor which allowed us to exit the building using the stairs rather than wait for the elevator. The elevator was good, we ate simply stair people whenever possible. Overall stay was great. Highly recommend.

“Convenient hotel great location”

Very convenient, perfect location and good price comoared to other places in Manhattan. Breakfast was good, but breakfast area is a bit small and gets very crowded in the mornings. Rooms are simple, smaller than they look in the pictures but I guess it’s like that in NYC.

“Recommend Staying Elsewhere”

Sketchy neighborhood, but close to Penn Station. No bath towels in room. Called front desk and was told that nobody was available to bring them until after 11:30 pm. Never got any. Breakfast was not very good and dining area was packed, so no seats available. All in all, would not stay here again.

It took us 1 half from J.F.K which we were expecting as we arrived at the hotel the young lady behind the desk was very sharp and was complaining that her day was dragging when she finally acknowledged us properly. It took us 1 half from J.F.K which we were expecting as we arrived at the hotel the young lady behind the desk was very sharp and was complaining that her day was dragging when she finally acknowledged us properly. She hit us with a $ 700+ bill which was resort tax and deposit. Even though we had emailed them to find out if there was such a thing but they didn’t reply (even though they had months to do so ) good job we took a credit card with us. We stayed in room 703 at the front of the hotel which was freezing when we first got in as the windows did not shut properly the heater when we finally got it working was like something from the 90’s with the top taken off and written on in sharpie was heat cold on and off. The room was clean and tidy but thank goodness we were only stopping 4 nights as there was only one wardrobe. The smell of weed is something you have to get used to it blows up from the street don’t suppose it helped that people were smoking it inside the hotel and down at the front of the hotel so it blew straight up to our broken window. The bathroom was well equipped with lovely smelling shower gel and shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast is like a cattle market, the area is very small seats are broke if you can get a seat there are cereals toaste waffles fruit and other hot foods you will not starve something for everyone. The hotel is in a great position close to broadway, time square and other great experiences. Checking out was easy the nice receptionist ordered a cab for us which came early thank goodness as traffic was horrendous it took us nearly 2 hours to go 16 miles. We did get our deposit back which she set in motion as soon as we checked out but it took a couple of days but the resort tax worked out at about £500 for 4 nights for 2 of us xxx
