The most magical place on earth, Very beautiful, educational, refreshing, happy people, nice food and games. Very Magical……. If I’m to recommend, I definitely want you and your family to experience this wonderful place. looking forward to visiting again.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my daughters 10, 13 y.o. We planned 1 day at the animal kingdom park on our way to visit friends in another part of Florida. And we’ve always wanted to stay at this property. I’ve stayed at other Disney properties and really enjoyed this one. Honestly because it wasn’t so over the top Disney princesses etc. my kids and I all agree the decor and general vibe feels really cool, and interesting to be learning about African culture as well as the animals. Lobby and check in were impressive aesthetically and very quick and easy. Our room wasn’t ready but I had a reservation at Sanna for lunch which worked out well. Staff is very friendly in Disney fashion. The food was good and we of course enjoyed the bread service as other reviews noted. We loved seeing the animals of course as we had lunch. Our room was very comfortable and though we were not booked in a Savana room we still had views of animals to our surprise. It was beautiful to see the giraffes snuggling right in front of our balcony. Beds super comfy and no complaints for the two night stay. Pool was nice but cold. It’s a Disney experience with tons of kids which is to be expected. Managed to get loungers and though overpriced their drinks are good. There’s a decent hot tub but I recommend having more than one like the grand California Disney hotel. Lots of adults look for a break here so it an be crowded. We enjoyed the arcade and the playroom one night to paint ceramics and watch a movie when it rained. The shuttle to the park was as expected and no issues. The fitness center was decent but TINY. Everyone in there shared but I expected a bit larger better equipped gym for this price point. Overall lots to do here for a quick stay and staff was welcoming and friendly. If you are looking for a splurge and love animals - stay here.

We paid over £600 a night for this hotel and were disappointed. When you come in it is amazing. there was only one person at the desk but there is a sign and if you stand there somebody comes out with an i-pad. We didn't get the room till after 2 so you lose the benefit of the first day as with all hotels. as this was anticipated we headed for the pool. What a letdown! You cannot walk right round it. You have to negotiate various gates. Beds are packed like sardines and there are few umbrellas or shade. There is a walkway round with beds but people book these and go into the pool with family or the hot tubs. It's not very relaxing. There is no service unless you go to the bar. Drinks are expensive. There is a shop but it was the same price for soft drinks. Our room was poor. Only one comfortable chair. An empty fridge and the smallest plastic cups you have ever seen. No china cups for tea or coffee. No milk for tea. For much of the day there are no animals and the giraffes stay far away. There is extra bedding but it had a security tag so I was cold the first night. When we went to look for food there was a snack bar. It showed African food with a picture of a burger! There were better choices and wine at $22 was very cheap. We could take it back to our room. Breakfast was appalling. The breakfast croissant was an omlette stuffed in a croissant. I have never seen anything like it. BREAKFAST buffet was over $40 and not worth the money. Dinner buffet was over $60. The restaurant was fully booked for our stay and I had to press them to accept a booking for our last night. It was over $200 and the wait for our main was unacceptable. We had only one starter and no dessert. The first night ,a Friday we had to go to Disney Springs which takes half an hour. Many places on the bus are standing. When we got there it was so busy we struggled to find somewhere to eat. You may be better to book a cheaper room and use the viewing areas. As it was not school holidays we were shocked how many children were there.
