Love this hotel, we came in October 25 and have just been back may 26. The hotel is great, so much to do for the children. All the staff were amazing, especially kubra, she was so good with the girls. Can’t wait for our next trip!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at the hotel! From the very first moment, the staff was incredibly friendly (especially Cagdas and Emir), welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was truly outstanding and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We were also impressed by the quality of the food — every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. Another thing that immediately stood out was the exceptional cleanliness. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained everywhere in the hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back!

“Anda Barut Has the Foundations, But There’s Still Work To Do”

We recently returned from a five-night stay at Anda Barut Collection. As regular guests of Lara Barut Collection and fans of Lara, we wanted to try something else under the Barut banner. Anda appealed to us given its size, newness, the general reviews, and of course, the Barut brand. This review is intended as constructive feedback because Anda clearly has enormous potential, and many things are already being done exceptionally well. The Great The resort itself is genuinely impressive. The scale, landscaping, architecture, and overall design create a very premium first impression. There are lots of beautifully designed corners and relaxing spaces, and the family-focused layout works very well. Cleanliness throughout the resort was excellent. The tireless work put in by the cleaning team is clearly shown. The staff were also one of the strongest aspects of the experience. Warm, professional, friendly, and consistently eager to help, even when operational challenges were clearly putting pressure on them. Credit where it is due: the team genuinely tries hard. A special mention also goes to Veysel, who looked after us at both Cibes and Fish Camp. He struck exactly the right balance and was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring without ever being overbearing. He also made sure our little one was well looked after throughout, which we really appreciated as parents. The children’s facilities and play areas are also very well executed and clearly designed thoughtfully for families. The spa is very well maintained, the services are reasonably priced, and we enjoyed the treatments. The Good Our room overall was comfortable and nicely designed, and we appreciated that most furniture edges had been rounded thoughtfully with family safety in mind. The reception and guest relations teams also made genuine efforts to assist where possible. For example, after difficulties with restaurant reservations, they eventually helped us secure a booking at Tiger, which we appreciated. Anda also has something that cannot be manufactured overnight: potential. You can see the ambition behind the project and, with time and refinement, it could become a truly outstanding resort. The Underwhelming Unfortunately, the dining experience was consistently the weakest part of the stay. Compared to Lara Barut, where even buffet meals feel elevated, and the à la carte restaurants genuinely approach fine dining standards, the food offering at Anda still felt very much like a standard all-inclusive experience. The buffet at Zestful Bazaar was average overall, but vegetarian guests in particular will struggle. Most vegetarian dishes felt like afterthoughts rather than properly curated options. This issue continued across the restaurants. At Cibes, while some of the non-vegetarian dishes were enjoyable, there were effectively no meaningful vegetarian mains available. The staff kindly arranged a separate vegetarian menu, but the resulting dish was extremely basic and disappointing. Boiled white rice, cashew and broccoli. Yes, exactly that! Tiger unfortunately followed a similar pattern. While we appreciated finally securing a reservation, the overall food quality remained just about average and vegetarian options again felt inadequate. The restaurant reservation system itself was perhaps the single most frustrating operational issue. Every morning at 10am felt like “The Hunger Games,” with guests scrambling to secure bookings. That is not an experience guests should associate with a luxury Barut property. The service pace in some restaurants (Cibes) was also excessively slow. There is a difference between relaxed dining and waiting over an hour for main courses. The beach area was another disappointment when compared to Lara Barut. The shoreline felt muddier, and the beach bar felt understocked and lacking atmosphere. The vibe was just not there. Maybe a function of us being early in the season? A number of restaurants and beach services were also not yet operational during our stay, which made parts of the resort feel unfinished and somewhat quiet. There were also a couple of smaller but important room details that surprised us. The rainfall shower pressure was weaker than expected, and while most furniture edges were sensibly rounded, the granite bedside tables had very sharp corners, which felt like an unnecessary safety risk, particularly in family rooms with young children. Overall Anda Barut absolutely has the foundations to become a top-tier family resort. The property is beautiful, the staff are excellent, and the ambition behind the project is obvious. However, today it still feels like a resort finding its feet operationally, particularly around dining quality, vegetarian offerings, restaurant logistics, and beach experience. As returning Barut guests, we genuinely wanted to love Anda in the same way we love Lara Barut. Unfortunately, at this stage, Lara remains in a completely different league when it comes to overall polish and execution. We will perhaps stick with Lara and give Anda some more years, and let it mature a bit more before planning a return. That said, with time, refinement, and attention to guest feedback, Anda absolutely has the potential to get there.
